It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. The fabric has been replaced along the way with an antique beige that is all buttoned and pleated. It must have been done in the last 10 years or so as it is in lovely condition. The sofa is all tight and sturdy. The overall size is 68 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 48 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 28 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest, 23 inches high to the arms and 16 inches high to the seat. There are a few tacks that need replacing on the trim. Which also can be seen in photo's Maroon Rose colored high pile velvet has no fade spots. No wear, no rips. Bottom has dust cover which I think was re-done at some time. I used to upholster)Seat cushions are springs. I am assuming they are horsehair and cotton padded, they feel like it although the only way to tell is to take the dustcover off. Seat springs are nice and firm. Beautiful antique sofa couch. I am not sure if the age. But would guess 1800's. purchased at an estate sale in Valley Forge, Pa. We had It re- upholstered last year. The fabric is gorgeous and soft! There is one part on the back that looks to have a repair on the wood. There is one small piece on the bottom back that also looks like a repair, about 1 inch. Both repairs are with the same wood and not really noticeable. One of the wheels on the bottom is broken. The wheels can be removed. This is an old piece, the edge of the wood has imperfections under the finish as expected with a piece this old, but it is not noticeable and really beautiful! Please ask me any questions. Beautiful vintage/antique sofa and matching chair. This unique/ rare sofa has zippered compartments in the back which hold the retractable legs so the back can lay back into some sort of daybed- see 2nd to last picture. Both sofa and chair have their original protective arm covers. Upholstery is in excellent shape with only one frayed area under right arm- see last picture. No smoke. Animals, or odors noted. Some lightly soiled areas noted(too light to show in pictures) could be cleaned or used as is, up to your discretion. Beautiful carved wood on sofa and chair with rose design. Antique Vintage Victorian Sofa and Chair Set This is a beautiful set that is in great condition. The carving in the wood frame is beautiful. The sofa has 8 legs that are also carved. The arms/wings of the sofa and chair have button detail. Sofa measures approx. 85" long from winged arm to other winged arm and height is 3'to top of carved center. Chair measures approx. 3' wide from winged arm to other winged arm and height is 3' to top of carved center. I think the fabric is original but I'm not sure. I purchased this at an auction about 20 years ago. Was used for decorating purposes in a bedroom. Smoke free home. PICK UP ONLY! THANKS FOR LOOKING

Beautiful Vintage Victorian Style Couch Professionally Restored
This beautiful Victorian era sofa has been professionally restored. All wood. Springs, etc. are original. The upholstery and studs are the only update. The upholstery is high quality and contemporary. The upholstery is a very light tan color with white accents. The studs are silver in color. The feet and back wood design is beautifully carved. This piece is stable, comfortable and comes from a clean non-smoking home. History: Around 2005 I went to well know restoration shop. I was there to pick up an antique furniture set I was having restored. I saw this beautiful piece in the back. I asked about it. He said that the couch had been brought in a year ago and that it had been in the owner’s family for many years. However. They were unable to pay for the restoration so it just stayed there. I purchased it and he restored it to its original ... moreglory. I then had it professionally upholstered and the studs added. I have loved this couch and have received many compliments on it. People are drawn to. I am now redesigning my sitting room to be a Tuscan theme and it simply does not match. I hope to find a new home for this amazing piece. One who loves it as much as I have. Measures 88" long. 35" depth and 35" height. The seating area is 58" long and 23" depth. Local pick up is preferred. This sofa is in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Fabulous Victorian. Edwardian or Hollywood Regency beautifully styled sofa with carved mahogany or walnut back, arms and legs Considering how old it is and being well traveled in its lifetime. It is in exceptionally good condition. Pure class and luxury! The solid wood finely carved floral crest creates an incredible accent for this sofa and makes it such a unique piece that it would be difficult to find anywhere else. It does have a very comfortable cushioned back and seat. There is a richly carved grained wood frame of the entire perimeter along with a fabric gold inlaid ribbon. Supported by cabriolet legs. It had been reupholstered in a rich dark cocoa brown velvety type of material that would blend in well with many decors. The newly upholstered seat cushions have zippered covers for easy washing along with arm rest covers which can be ... moreseen in the photos. This sofa is in excellent presentable clean condition and is ready for use with only very minimal signs of wear. It is a very solid well made sturdy sofa with some weight to it. This piece is ready to be a real statement maker in your home which would bring about compliments every time someone sees it. It's also still very in-keeping with a modern style, not being too ornate. Measures: 85"W x 35"D x 68"W x 19"H to the seat. But 33"H to the top I recommend using U-Ship if you choose to arrange to have it shipped yourself. Otherwise if you do live within a 2-hour radius of Westchester County. New York, I do have a U-Haul Hitch and could deliver it to you for an additional $100 fee that I would invoice separately.
