It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. The fabric has been replaced along the way with an antique beige that is all buttoned and pleated. It must have been done in the last 10 years or so as it is in lovely condition. The sofa is all tight and sturdy. The overall size is 68 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 48 inches wide on the inside of the arms, 28 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest, 23 inches high to the arms and 16 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking sofa with a great patina on the wood frame.

It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Original and features solid flame mahogany outer construction which boasts an original finish with a rich lustrous natural patina. The Victorian design incorporates 4 turned legs(one immovable. Three screw off) Appropriate to the era needlepoint type fabric with a muted cream background floral design consisting of scarlet rose color. Soft fern green and ... morebrownish-red stems. Upholstery is in good condition with no wear spots and free of staining. But would brighten with a cleaning. Fabric covers rear of seat as it should for away-from-wall presentation. B order piping is intact except for a foot or so that will need to be tacked(on the back) Formally a sitting Chaise Lounge. This one features an oversized bolstered roll arm that is capped on the front with rich beveled circular mahogany designs. Gorgeous Victorian Couch Sofa Signed / Marked
Beautiful antique sofa couch. I am not sure if the age. But would guess 1800's. purchased at an estate sale in Valley Forge, Pa. We had It re- upholstered last year. The fabric is gorgeous and soft! There is one part on the back that looks to have a repair on the wood. There is one small piece on the bottom back that also looks like a repair, about 1 inch. Both repairs are with the same wood and not really noticeable. One of the wheels on the bottom is broken. The wheels can be removed. This is an old piece, the edge of the wood has imperfections under the finish as expected with a piece this old, but it is not noticeable and really beautiful! Please ask me any questions. There is some damage to the wood frame(pics 2.3, 5- 7) Some pics show normal wear and tear with the finish rubbed, look at pic 6 that shows a crack in the top frame.
