It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. RARE ANTIQUE VINTAGE ORIGINAL ART DECO MATCHING MOHAIR SOFA CHAIR FURNITURE SET
This is a beautiful and rare set of vintage mohair furniture. I am not sure of the exact year that they were made but the latest patent date found on the tags of these pieces is 1929. They are comfortable to sit in and are a color that goes well with nearly anything. There is some noticeable wear as one would expect from furniture of this age(some fading in common areas like arm rests. A hole in the back of the chair, a small hole on the top of the sofa) but the steel springs are still good and do not sag. All the mohair and brocade is original and make these beautiful pieces that are getting harder and harder to find. The common areas of wear such as the arm rests could be easily covered with antimacassars if you dont not want to restore these pieces. The sofa measures approximately 77" wide, 33" deep, and 30" tall. The chair ... moremeasures approximately 35" wide, 35" deep, and 33" tall. Overall, a beautiful and rare set that would make a nice addition to any home. Delivery is available up to 200 miles for a charge. Antique sofa couch living room furniture old vintage seating
Here we have an absolutely beautiful couch. it's very comfortable as well. I'm not sure of age but it's definitely old. It seems to have a very heavy silk type upholstery. There are a few stains as shown in the picture and the one cushion has some wear going on but not very noticeable. It just needs a cleaning but I don't know much about cleaning that type of material so I'm selling as is. A beautiful piece that can be picked up only.
