It is 82" long and ... more39" high to the center at the back. This sofa is ornate with hand crafted hard wood decor about 2" thick in dark brown color of the grape and leaf patterns. The cushion is about 4" at highest point. 58" long without arm, and 20" deep. It is an original tanned upholstery with the small mauve flower pattern. It is decorated with some fabric buttons on the cushion. The cushion is very firm. There are 3 light water stains on the cushion sitting area as shown in the pictures. There is a small worn area on the fabric of the left arm. No major damage on the cushion. The cushion is 5" high from the floor. It has the brass rivets stitched along the cushion all the way around the front. The arm is 24 1/2" high from the floor. Each arm of the sofa has embossed hand crafted grape leaf design. There is a wooden surface damage on the top right arm. The stitching at the back along the left arm has come detached about 2" The legs are very stunning with the hand carvings on wood about 2 3/4" thick. The end of the legs have brass wheels about 1" diameter. There is a tear at the back on right foot area of the upholstery about 2" but it is not noticeable. The back felt cover is purple/ blue, it is faded. There are rusty nails holding back cover, that is partially torn off. The bottom of the couch covered with the fabric, it is old, has no tears. All the tears mentioned can be fixed. All is in great shape. This piece is really classic antique look, was kept well by our grandmother circa 1800's. Sold as is. Local pick-up only. Original and features solid flame mahogany outer construction which boasts an original finish with a rich lustrous natural patina. The Victorian design incorporates 4 turned legs(one immovable. Three screw off) Appropriate to the era needlepoint type fabric with a muted cream background floral design consisting of scarlet rose color. Soft fern green and ... morebrownish-red stems. Upholstery is in good condition with no wear spots and free of staining. But would brighten with a cleaning. Fabric covers rear of seat as it should for away-from-wall presentation. B order piping is intact except for a foot or so that will need to be tacked(on the back) Formally a sitting Chaise Lounge. This one features an oversized bolstered roll arm that is capped on the front with rich beveled circular mahogany designs. Stem and leaf carvings accent the front base rails and the structure is rock solid and sturdy with two small(less than an inch each) veneer loss near the left front leg. Accent carvings are also found on the crest and finial. And there is uniform spring seating support—front edge seating area is shy on padding, but presentable. The underside is fabric covered. Luxurious rare antique sofa
This antique sofa is very comfortable in addition to its uniqueness and beauty. I bought it few months ago from original owner. He said it was his grandmother's and he was in his 50-ies so assume this sofa must be from 1900-1950-ies or even older. The fabric does show wear. So it can be reupholstered or at least cushions. I tried to repaint the back of one of the cushions with fabric paint. As you can see on the picture, but it didn't look good. Beautiful Antique Sofa/ Loveseat
I don't know much about this sofa except that my mother gave it to me and she had it all my life. There is a sticker on the bottom that is somewhat visible that read T.S.M.CO. 20th Century Idea Trenton. H. It can comfortably seat two people, maybe three if you squeeze. The fabric is a golden/ yellowish corduroy fabric with lining. There are some minor stains on it. The frame is made from wood with designs on the top corners and two front legs to look like paws. I'm looking for a great home! I wish I could keep it. But just don't have the room. DON'T HESITATE TO ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT IT!

And thank you so much for looking at this. I know very little about it but I will tell you what I know. This could be handmade but it is amazing in the quality of work put into it. If you are serious about this item. Let me know and we can work out a price as it was too late to change the listing. I bought this set in an antique shop around 15 years ago. I was told it was at an Antique Shop before that. That closed down so the owner commissioned it to be sold at the one I bought it from. There are no tags but I tried to show how it is constructed underneath. Pretty nice size springs& big straw straps but I don't really know. The frame is wood under the material. And knowing very little about material. I think it is either velvet or velveteen? Not sure but must be pretty tough, maybe upholstery material? And here are the approximate ... moredimensions: Sofa is 22" wide from outer edge of arms. Very back to front is about 9" deep. Height is about 9 1/2" Chair is about 10 1/2" wide from outer edge of arms. Back to front is 9" deep. Height is about9 1/2" The Doilies came with the set so off they go. I see no rips or tears. Just the little bit of missing velvet that I have included a photo of. The photos make the material look like it has variations of color, but that's just the velvet under the lights. The feet show wear. I guess from moving around while on display but still, very sturdy. The round feet are nailed to the frame. Please note that I am not an expert at all on furniture. Antiques or materials. But the history is information I had gotten from whom I purchased this from. I can answer questions though and also send more pics if needed. My husband looked at it and said it was done by someone who knew how to build. Done very well, maybe professional. He said its"the real thing" Also note that colors may differ once downloaded. It has original Ivory covering and is 80" long x 31" deep x 36" high. Wood has lovely aged patina with no broken parts, although there are some nicks and chips I’ve attempted to show in pictures. Further detail: The arms end in a fiddle head with a leaf detail on the arm fronts. There are 8 lion footed legs with a flower carved above each front leg. There are additional flowers included above the carved decorative front wood border making a total of seven floral designs carved on front. The damask upholstery fabric has a floral and leaf design that covers entire back and arms. This couch has a solid stable frame structure. The fabric is original and has some staining. This is definitely a one of a kind sofa. You would never know by looking at it that it has a secret hidden cedar chest built into it. You could hide your guns. Money, important papers etc. in plain sight. This is a very old sofa and it is really heavy. It has awesome claw feet and ornate carvings in dark wood. It's covered in a bizarre lime green material with a great funky look to it. There are no rips or tears in it. Overall, it's in really good shape for it's age, and the fact that it has a secret compartment in it, just makes it that much more interesting. Perfect to hide stuff in plain site.

RARE ANTIQUE VINTAGE ORIGINAL ART DECO MATCHING MOHAIR SOFA CHAIR FURNITURE SET
This is a beautiful and rare set of vintage mohair furniture. I am not sure of the exact year that they were made but the latest patent date found on the tags of these pieces is 1929. They are comfortable to sit in and are a color that goes well with nearly anything. There is some noticeable wear as one would expect from furniture of this age(some fading in common areas like arm rests. A hole in the back of the chair, a small hole on the top of the sofa) but the steel springs are still good and do not sag. All the mohair and brocade is original and make these beautiful pieces that are getting harder and harder to find. The common areas of wear such as the arm rests could be easily covered with antimacassars if you dont not want to restore these pieces. The sofa measures approximately 77" wide, 33" deep, and 30" tall. The chair ... moremeasures approximately 35" wide, 35" deep, and 33" tall. This is a very unique piece of furniture. It is a custom built double-sided sofa. This was custom built for a family with a very large home in a affluent suburb of Cleveland Ohio. I don't have much more information on it. Although I can guarantee you won't see anything else like it. I cannot locate any markings on the wood or couch. I do not know the age of the couch, but I was told it was built in the 70's or 80's. It may be older, it may be newer. Very solid, sturdy, well made piece of furniture. Very good condition. No stains, rips, smoke or pet odors. It is a very large piece and quite heavy. If I had any room for it I would keep it. Upholstery is in excellent shape with only one frayed area under right arm- see last picture. No smoke. Animals, or odors noted. Beautiful carved wood on sofa and chair with rose design. Heavy pieces with metal shaped feet, cute pink trimming, and nail head trim. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY- PAYMENT DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF WINNING BID.
