Up for bid is this beautiful old solid brass utility spigot valve that is repairable and functional. It is from the early 1900's with the handle looking to be a little later like the 1920's. Beautiful Antique/Vintage bathroom faucet. Solid brass construction. Even the valves are brass. This faucet will last forever. Not like the cheap fixtures they make today. The underside has an S stamped in it. My research leads me to think it is a Sherle Wagner. She is a well know designer from NY. She is still in business and you can hew her website. I am not an expert so please don't take my word for it. The faucet is very heavy. Is in great shape. Has a few scratches but they are small and I couldn't get a picture of them. There is a perfect amount of patina on it. The rubber seals inside are in great shape. Handles still function very well. This is a very nice faucet. It will be the centerpiece of any bathroom. This is a pair of matching vintage solid brass faucets. They have their original patina. But you can polish them if a shiny brass luster is preferred. Both look really nice. The threads appear good, but I have not tested them, nor do I have a way of testing the inner workings of the faucets, so I am selling them"as is" Both handles turn. The outside diameter of the threads is approximately 3/4" and the faucets measure approximately 4.5" front to back. This is a matching set, unusual for their age and quality.

I was told that they are over 75 years old. I don't know enough about these faucets to verify that they are in fact over 75 years old, but they look very old. One handle is marked"COLD" and the other is marked"HOT" The porcelain is not cracked or chipped. These faucets would make a great addition to your plumbing restoration project. VINTAGE LATE VICTORIAN 3 ARM SOLID BRASS TOWEL RACK/HOLDER BRASSCRAFTERS? 9 pics Subject: An antique. Late Victorian, three arm, solid brass with old nickel plate towel rack/ holder. This is a very heavy, early piece which measures about 11 1/2 inches at it's longest point by 4 9/16 inches at it's highest point. The overall weight of this piece is about 2 pounds and 5 ounces. The nickel plating on this piece does appear to have some oxidation issues going on. As an after thought experiment, after I took the photos, I sprayed a small amount of orange glow on a rag, and along with some elbow grease did some cleaning on the top arm. The results were that this item retains more than 95 percent of it's nickel plating, and that most of that has a very lite surface oxidation, that would more than likely clean up very well if one used ... morea proper polish instead of orange glow. The piece does have some paint residue on the bracket, most of that being on the back of the bracket, as well as some small paint splatters but here again the proper polish would more than likely remove most of the paint. This piece is unmarked from what I can tell but it does appear to have the type of high quality one would find in one of The Brasscrafters pieces. Vintage Art Deco 1946-1948 Stratmore Solid Brass Nickel Faucet RARE Modern Retro
Up for auction is a vintage Stratmore Art Deco faucet that dates from circa 1946-1948. So just at the very end of the Art Deco era. I believe it to be this timeframe based on the patents that I was able to find online. Based on the extremely limited amount of information available on this faucet, as well as no comparable fixtures to be found online, I believe this to be a fairly rare piece. Given that this was also at the end of the Art Deco era, I'm guessing that relatively few of these were ever produced. The reason that I'm thinking this dates from 1946-1948 is based on the patent application date and the date it was granted. The front of this faucet shows'PAT. PENDING' which would indicate that it was made in that timeframe. From what I'm told, this was in use up until 1948 or 1949 in my grandmother's house. Since ... morethen, it has been sitting in a dark, dry locked room in her basement. However, now that we're tasked with closing out her estate, it can once again be enjoyed by someone! It's a very cool design, everything is a right angle except for the nozzle and the wall plates. The soap dish lifts out of the faucet itself. Each of the valves are marked with an Art Deco H or C(see pictures! There really are only two tiny flaws that I found with this piece- the nozzle has plier marks and as seen in the last picture, one of the corners by a valve has a tiny nick in the metal. Otherwise, a very unique faucet, extremely rare, and one that really shows the true design style of the Art Deco era. Shipping will be FedEx Ground or Home Delivery, cost depends on location. NICE Older Vintage Solid Brass Toilet Paper Holder With Wood Bar WOW- went to my favorite flea market this weekend and found some awesome treasures for you- I’ll be listing all week. So keep checking! Here is a very nice old toilet paper holder- I'm calling it older vintage. But I do think it could be old enough to be antique- definitely early 1900s. It's hard to tell because it has been polished- and you can see just peeks of the old dark finish on the inside edges and at the base where the backpiece meets the two arms. It's a solid brass toilet paper holder- with a wood bar in the center that has a very worn black finish originally, then a white finish over that, and BOTH finish are very worn, especially in three lines in the center. That's just the paint, though- the toilet paper holder, and the bar are in excellent solid, ... moresturdy and working condition. The bar has two brass finials that hold it in place. Unscrew one, and the bar comes out that holdes the bar that holds the tp. The frame of the holder is also solid brass. it measures 6 1/2" wide by 3 1/8" tall at the backpiece that mounts on the wall, and that backpiece has two screw mount holes that are 4 3/8" apart, center of hole to center of hole. The toilet paper"arms" are 5 1/4" apart but the piece is 6 1/8" wide in total finial to finial. The space for the toilet paper is 4 3/4" between the arms measuring on the inside and the wood bar is 1" diameter. This is a heavy quality piece- weighing just over 1 1/4 lbs- it was made as a lasting work horse and has! Excellent condition- totally sound and ready to go. Vintage pair of brass faucets. Nice patina. Polish or use as is. These are in good shape, the handles move easily. I believe they have been re-worked at some time fairly recently. I still recommend new washers if installed to prevent problems. Threads are in good shape. No other hardware is included, this is how I found them. I think all plumbing is standard. Marked"H" and"C" on top. Spigots extend 3 1/2 inches from the center of the shaft. Handles are 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The one on the left is marked with an“H” inside a diamond logo; has a little twist to the right on the body part of the threaded mouth. The one on the right does not appear to have any markings. They both measure approximately 4 1/4” at their longest points and both measure approximately 4 1/4” at their highest points. The handles turn in and out smoothly on both and both have a little thread damage and some damage on the fixed nuts. They appear to have no cracks or breaks and appear to be in solid condition. They have a great patina that gives a nice primitive look. These just may be the ones you have been looking for to complete your collection or both would have to be restored ... moreto use again.
