ANOTHER GREAT NEW OLD STOCK ANTIQUE BRASS PLUMBING FIXTURE FOR YOUR BIDDING PLEASURE! Up for bid we have a new old stock hose bib from United Valve Corp. of Cleveland Ohio. This faucet sat in the original box from the manufacturer on the shelves of a local plumbing company which closed the doors over 75 years ago. The faucet is marked United with no other stamps or markings anywhere. It is 1/2 inch threaded and made entirely of brass. The box is not included in the sale and you are bidding on one faucet. As you can see it is in beautiful condition for it's age as it was protected in the box for all those years. The finish is bright and beautiful with only a few hazy spots on it which are hard to see in the pictures. Whether you are planning on installing it in a retro restoration or simply adding it to your collection on the shelves you ... morewill not be disappointed with this one. Remember though that if you are planning on using it you may need to check if new seals are needed since a faucet of this age may have dry rotted seals inside if there are any. It has a textured flow knob and remnants of green paint on the cast iron 2 1/4" handle. Weight is 14.6 oz. Next- silver plated brass fixture& handle is 4" in total length with the letter"H" in a diamond. Weight is 10.2 oz. Last is a 3 1/4" fixture with a 1 3/4" black painted(chippy paint) cast iron handle. Printed with the letter"H" in a circle, opposite side shows FIG 704. Weight is 6.2 oz. I have an old antique cast brass water faucet spigot for your consideration. Heavy cast brass manufacture. This is in nice condition and should clean up nicely. There are some dings and scuffs consistent with its age. Great utility faucet that will bring a lot of character to your home with your watering needs. Looks like a standard 1/2 inch pipe thread. Upon inspection the packing and seats were in poor condition and will need replacing. I left some of the fragments for you to see what will be needed. The valve stem screws in smoothly. I have a nice vintage faucet and a hard to find inline spigot valve faucet for your consideration. These come to you in nice reusable condition. The internal valve seats look good and the packing looks good as well although I have not tried with water pressure. The seat rings might need to be replaced. Both have a nice hose thread on them. The valve with in line shutoff gives you good flexibility for your garden or home watering needs. Nice heavy solid cast brass manufacture. The faucet is marked Oberndorf and has a nice thread trim plate which is adjustable 1/2 inch. These appear to have a standard 1/2 inch pipe thread. I saved these solid brass locking spigots/faucets from the scrap pile because they are just WAY TOO COOL to just be melted down. I have no idea if they actually work(don't leak. Etc. But I'm sure if you wanted to replace the gaskets in them they would.hard to say. I was thinking they would be great for coat hooks.crafts.art.whatever. Please note that one of the valves has a broken piece so that it can no longer be locked. Everything else appears to be intact with all of them. I have obviously done nothing to clean these up. This is a cool old vintage. Jenkins Bros. inline water shut-off valve with great patina and handle! There was pride in workmanship back then in manufacturing- even their logo is artfully rendered in script! This is solid brass except for the outer ring of the handle. It is heavy The faucet handle turns easily and probly needs a new washer. The markings read" 1/4" 150 Trademark/Jenkins/Mqark. It measures 5 inches tall 2 1/4 long and 1 3/4 wide. This is a tool to renew the seat on a brass Douglass valve. They do not make these anymore. If you restore old toilets then you know the value of this tool. You cannot buy replacement pads. You can improvise and make your own from scotch pads and sand paper. This item comes with 2 new pads. I have had this in the shop for many years and no longer want to hold onto it. I do have one I have used got years. This one was just removed from a sealed package of 26 years for these pictures.
