Hello and welcome to our auction! We are offering this Great Antique Water faucet! It measures about 6 inches across the mounting and handle area. From the top of handles of bottom of attachment it also measures 6 inches. It has a beautiful classic style from the early 1900s. The spigot was made by Standard and has the name on the middle section. It appears to be in good condition. It is missing the white porcelain top on one of handles and has some minor marks and scratches. We did not attempt to clean or polish. This is a very rare and ornate piece which was used to plug the drain hole in a sink back before the days of the built-in stoppers. These would usually have a nice chain attached to the ring located on the top so it would remain by the sink and not get lost. The bottom dish does drain out the back with the brass bracket designed with an oval shaped hole to allow the water to pass through. Very neat and rare piece. Here is a very cool piece for a kitchen. Bar, Bathroom etc. This towel drying rack is from an old Soda Shop. I have also seen these in Barber Shops. I don't know how old this piece is. It is metal with a chrome plated finish. It has 6 swing arms(10" long) with ball nuts on each end(one nut missing) The twisted pole extends out from the wall 1" and has a top and bottom wall bracket. The tip on the top finial is missing(tip only) and dose not effect the functionality of the towel rack. And you cant tell its missing if you didn't know it was ever there. Nice vintage dark jadeite towel bar brackets with a 25" clear glass rod. Brackets are in good condition. One bracket has a very small chip in the jadeite glaze right next to one of the mounting holes it is slightly bigger than a pin head. The clear glass rod is not original to the brackets but it is genuine period. Has scratches and scuff marks but is otherwise undamaged. Overall very good condition. The towel bars measure 24" long with the end caps on and sticks out 5” from the wall. The brass rod itself is 19” long without the end caps screwed on and is 1/2” wide. The taller one measures 3 1/4 inches across and stands 1 3/4 inches in height. The set of two. They each measure a little over 3 inches, and stand 1 inch in height. VINTAGE 11-1/2" LONG WALL MOUNT KITCHEN OR BATHROOM STYLE TRIPLE 3 SWINGING BAR SWIVEL TOWEL RACK This beautiful piece was recently reclaimed from a 100 year old West side Chicago warehouse that was demolished in fall of 2013. That was once located near Western and Chicago Avenues. The building sat vacant for over 10 years and this was removed from their kitchen/ locker room. Great original. As found shape. Will require a little more cleaning and polishing to look much better. It shines nice as-is, but does have light rust and tarnish. Also light overpaint on the back side of the mounting plate.
