The white enameled porcelain over cast iron is still shiny white, with no discoloration or staining. There are no chips or broken pieces but a few small nicks down to the iron, mostly in places you don't see, such as around the screw holes. I have spent hours searching for pictures in other places of these pieces; the robe hook is typical, but I have never found this exact soap dish and toothbrush holder design. I did find only one photo of the cup holder at an antique site. To the best of my ability I will try to accurately describe each piece of this fine set: Cup holder- 4" tall. 4 1/4" deep(from the wall) 3 1/4" cup circumference. Underside has a 3/8" nick to the iron and some ... morelight gray scratches Toothbrush holder- 7" long. 2 1/4" deep. Has one tiny nick to the top rim. The second hole from the right has an indentation that looks like a chip, but it does not feel rough or sharp, neither looks like a chip under magnification. Soap dish- 4 3/4" wide. 5" deep. The glaze has worn off on the top surface, probably because of contact with soap, I would suppose. It feels rough. Some small, short, faint gray scratches on the rim. Notice in the photo the hairline fracture on the top and on the underside, where you can see a bit of rust. It looks like a fracture clean-through, but there is no"give" when you apply pressure. Robe hook- 2 1/2" tall. 2 1/4" deep. Has a visible nick to the iron on the top mount rim, three tiny rust specks, and a very small gray scratch. These pieces are in such nice condition that I actually mounted them into drywall for a time in our old farmhouse bathroom just for"looks. took them down when we moved, and they have been in storage since. Another one of my estate sale Relics. These would have gone on the pipes to a old stand up sink. One of the covers has a brass insert that says Glauber. The pieces measure 3in at the sink base and slopes upward to a 1 3/8in top. The hole in the cap that is missing the insert is 14/16ths of an inch. And the opening on the other brass piece is 1/2inch. We have touched this in with bin primer to prevent rust staining. Pock and scuff marks can also be found. there is some staining and light pitting in the basin. I don't believe these two white porcelain bathroom accessory items were originally sold as a set. Because there are just enough slight design differences to suggest they have different manufacturers. Nevertheless, they were found together, so why not keep them together? The soap holder is about 4½" wide and 3½" deep. And the cup holder has an internal cup opening diameter of about 2½" Both will require a specifically shaped bracket in order to mount them to the wall. I don't know whether these brackets are still standard items in hardware stores, but you can make your own if you can cut, rout and drill the right sized pieces of metal. I've also seen people make them out of wood, or a combination of wood and metal, but a solid piece of metal seems to be the strongest solution. They are both in generally ... moreexcellent condition.
