2 VINTAGE ANTIQUE BRASS / BRONZE FAUCETS HOT COLD
You are bidding on 2(two) BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE BRASS/ BRONZE FAUCETS THAT APPEAR TO BE NICKEL PLATED. They appear to be a pair with one marked with a“C” and one with an“H” on the handles. They appear to have no other markings. When in the off position they measure approximately 6” long and the threads measure approximately 13/16” in diameter. They appear to have all the original hardware and it appears that there are no cracks or chips. The knobs turn hard. The threads have no damage. Since I did not take these apart. I do not know if they work properly. These are in as found condition and need cleaning. There is some staining and a great deal of finish loss but overall they appear to be in solid condition with great patina. I’ll leave the restoration and cleaning to the professionals. Went to the flea market, and still have some items from the weeks ago farm estate auction- there’s lots of neat stuff that you don‘t want to miss! You KNOW I know nothing about these- I just liked the industrial look of them. And the colors of the handles. What I have are two plumbing pieces- are they spigot handles? I'm guessing you know more than me! They appear to be brass- I'm not sure what kind of metal the handles are- a magnet doesn't stick to them either, but the metal looks more silver in the worn spots. The black one is marked 3/8 135 and you can see that it has threads on the inside of its hole in the center- it seems to measure more like 1/2" to me. It's ... more3 5/8" long from the handle to the end. The blue handles one has a mark that I cannot read. It measures 3 1/4" long from the handle to end and its 5/8" holes are not threaded on the inside. Each weighs about 1/2 lb and they appear to be in excellent condition. The handles turn well, and there's no issues that I can find. That being said- as I don't know how they are used, I also don't know if they are missing anything or if they can still be used, so please supersize my photos and look at all, and let me know what additional information you may need. This listing includes 2 very old water faucet spicket valves that came from a farmhouse of my grandparents dating back to the late 1890's or early 1900's. One is marked"Surge" and the bigger one is marked"McD" Both are quite heavy. Both faucets are extremely dirty and rusty. They have been washed off but not thoroughly cleaned up. The one marked"Surge" is the worse for wear. I honestly don't know what material either one of these are. But if you look at the pictures, you can see some shiny gold-colored areas on both items underneath the dirt and rust. These may be collectible. And then they may not! The one on the left is marked with an“H” inside a diamond logo; has a little twist to the right on the body part of the threaded mouth. The one on the right does not appear to have any markings. They both measure approximately 4 1/4” at their longest points and both measure approximately 4 1/4” at their highest points. The handles turn in and out smoothly on both and both have a little thread damage and some damage on the fixed nuts. They appear to have no cracks or breaks and appear to be in solid condition. They are nice and clean and has achieved a nice color that displays well. The nickel has a few blemishes and small tarnish areas. The nickel is in original condition and has been washed with water. A 3/8” thick and 6” deep shelf will fit the brackets. Just decide what length shelf you want. Go to a glass shop(or use plastic wood or any othe aceptable material) and get the shelf length you want and a shelf is born. There are 2 set screws to tighten the shelf in place. vintage porcelain faucet knobs handles - 2 sets, 4 total + pull & brass fittings
Two sets. 4 total vintage 1970s white porcelain cross H- hot and C- cold faucet knobs handles made by Price Pfister. The hot and cold letters are black on white porcelain circled by a piece of round brass. Also included are the bottom brass connectors with 1/2" spline that reduces to approximately 5/16" on the inside. The white cross knobs measure approximately 2 5/8" across. Good used condition. The porcelain has some hairline cracks. The brass is worn. One pull is approximately 5 1/2" long. The other is approximately 9" long. I am not sure why they are different lengths. Just the way they were installed in my home. Please see pictures. I remodeled my bathroom and thought someone may want to repurpose these classic vintage porcelain& brass fixtures. These are two used bathroom sink faucets. They are a matched pair. They are solid brass with nickel plating. The plating shows wear and pitting. They are marked“ EMPIRE” They have handles with porcelain covers. The porcelain covers have“HOT” COLD” There is a light surface crack on one handle side. The handles measure 2 3/4" from stem to tip. The measurement from the stem to outlet tip is 2 ¾” The threaded portion below the flange is 1 ¾” The thread is ½” pipe thread. They have new washers and may need new stem packing. Lot of 2 vintage porcelain& brass water faucet handles. The handles do not say hot or cold. They are unmarked. The handle's porcelain is not chipped or cracked. The brass hardware is very nice. They are in good condition. The porcelain handles are 2 1/2" long and would extend from a surface 1 1/2" On one handle the brass hardware is round and 5/16" in diameter, extends from the porcelain 1 10/16" and has a cotter hole at its end. On the other handle the brass hardware is 1/4" square, extends from the porcelain 2" and has a cotter hole at its end. Nice vintage old plumbing parts.
