Up for auction is 2 lbs of Vintage Antique 1 3/4" Galvanized Square Cut Nails. These nails are direct from open old wooden kegs.They are great vintage nails for use with arts and crafts. Siding, or anywhere else that requires antique detail with galvanized protection. The keg was open when found. I can't go through each nail so I will ship a little over the 2lbs with you being aware that a foreign nail may be mixed in here and there. Welcome to my listing. You are buying 50 Small NAILS 1800's used rusty bent old antique 1 3/8" box These old antique nails were removed from house plaster lath and they have plaster. Paint and rust on them. They woud add a neat vintage appearance to your project. 2-2-b* Most of the nails are bent some. The pictures show a good sampling of the heads. These nails were likely machine made in the 1800's. There may even be some hand made nails I missed and end up mixed in the lot. Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect. Since they are used they will add instant age and history and would be great for repairs and restoration work. These would have been used on plaster lath. Cabinets, shutters and furniture. Picture nails were used when the nail was left displayed above the picture and a long wire held the picture below the nail. The porcelain tops are removed from the nail and the nail driven into the wall and then the cap is replaced. The white porcelain has some age spots in the porcelain just as you would expect for old porcelain. Ideal for authentic restoration and antique effect.
