Antique lot of 142 primitive square barn nails
Up for auction is this lot of 142 antique square barn nails. I do not know where they came from but they were stored in a barn dating from the late 1700's. 57 of these nails are 2 1/4" and 85 are 2 1/2" long. I believe that is an accurate count but it may be off by a nail or two. I only counted once.

Vintage Wooden Barn Nails and Square Nails
I did not know these wooden barn nails even existed until I came across them. There are 8 of them. Two of them are frayed at the point end. One has the wide end damaged, and one has some splinters along the edge. The other four are in good condition. There are seven square nails but one of them is broken. There is one large one and six smaller, with one of the smaller ones being the broken one. The wooden nails are 8 inches long and 1 inch wide at the pounding end. The large square nail is 4.5 inches long and the other nails are 3 inches long.
