NY" The spout has the#00102 on it. This is a really heavy(10 1/2# pump. It would look really great in a garden or as a decorative item. It does appear to be fully functional. Brand new and never used water meter box lid. It measures 12 1/4 inches in diameter and 5/8 inches thick. It weighs 10 pounds! There are two holes 3/8 in. In diameter at the top that are about 2 in. Down and 4 1/2 in. Apart. You could put wire or rope through these holes and be able to hang the lid like a picture on a wall if you wanted to. Vintage "NEPTUNE TRIDENT" Red Brass Water Meter Repurpose Steampunk Altered Art
Pretty cool old red br ass water meter for your creative pleasure. I can't say for sure if it works or not. If you'll notice in the photos it's missing the bottom metal plate/cover and the inlet side has no thread s to connect to. Must have been broken off at some point. If the buyer doesn't access to a pipe threader or tap and die I can put threads on it for them. One could do it themselves pretty easy as well. Being as it's red brass, which is around 85% copper. Very soft. Anyhow. Just let me know, I'm easy. The meter is 8" tall. The other measurements are in the photos. Th e meter is pretty heavy for it's size, weighing almost 10 lbs. Copper again. A little side note here. If anyone is looking for steampunk/altered art/machine age/ repurposed supplies. Hit me up, I have so much stu ff and I'm having ... morea helluva time getting it listed. To the outside edge of the mounting ears it is apr. 4 1/8 inches across. The overall height is apr. 1 5/8 inches. There is some light traces of what appears to be paint. Up for auction is a Vintage Neptune Trident Red Brass Water Meter Steampunk New York. It is 9" tall. 7.5" wide(including the spouts) and 5.5" wide without the spouts. It is stamped 5/8 TRIDENT on the side and the lid is stamped NEPTUNE METER Co. TRIDENT 834027 WATER METER NEW YORK. Both the side and the lid have a TRIDENT stamped on them. The face of the meter is black and has a red dial with a Trident next to it. It is in good condition and still has the bottom section attached. It does show its age and has patina all over.
