Antique Copper Range Boiler Storage Tank and Side-Arm Water Heater
Have you ever dreamed of an authentic hot water system for your Victorian home? Look no further! This Randolph Clowes patented Brown& Brothers boiler was a high quality copper boiler for its day. It has reinforcing ribs on the inside to help prevent boiler collapse. It is a 30 gallon tank. Rated at 85lbs pressure, but tested to 200lbs. It's copper with a cast iron stand. The heater is a Clover Jr. with a 25k BTU/h rating. This can be mated with a range with a water back as well, or the gas heater only, or both. Antique, vintage cast iron hot water heater by Cresent Mfg. 30M
The little woman been cold lately? kids using all your hot water? Well you are in luck. I remodeled a small milk shed to attach to my art studio and when insulating the attic stumbled onto this relic, do not know much about it. All in tact and does not have the appearance of used to me though may have been installed. The cast and shell as well as the coil and bottom plate are in what seems very good condition. The exhaust pipes are chipped but not dented, 5 total at 50" all 5 are clean inside and are galvanized metal. Crescent water heater made in Cleveland Ohio by E L Mustee and Sons. Model# 30M. Antique Sands 50 Cast Iron Hot Water Heater
I just got this from an estate sale and it looks to be in pretty nice condition but I don't know if it still works. When I got it the door was latched but I can't quiet get it close enough to latch in fact it looks to be only about a hair or 2 from getting close enough to latch for whatever reason. I assume it wouldn't take much to adjust the door slightly so it did latch. The door and everything on it is nice and solid. The case only is about 21 1/2" long. Please check out all the pictures. ENOUGH COPPER TUBING TO CREATE THESE HEATERS RAN $150.00- $200.00 IN MY AREA- JUST THE PRICE FOR THE COPPER ALONE. THEN I SAW THIS. I MERELY HOOKED IT UP ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS I FOUND ON THE INTERNET TO HOOK UP A STANDARD WOOD BURNING CHOFU. I WILL INCLUDE A COPY OF THIS WITH THE BURNER IN CASE YOU'RE INTERESTED IN TRYING THIS. I USE A HARDWOOD COAL FIRE IN MINE(I PUT IT IN A SMALLISH CAST IRON PAN I HAD AND ADD MORE COAL AS NEEDED ABOUT EVERY 45 MINUTES AS SUGGESTED) AND HEAT IT WHILE I DO OUTDOOR WORK AND BBQing. Vintage Cast Iron Water Heater Copper Coils Princess
What a cool piece of early 20th Century architectural or industrial cast iron work. This little water heater was made by the Princess Heating Company of Cleveland. Ohio. It is the Princess No. 20. Double copper coils inside of the cast iron body. It measures 17.75" tall with a 7.25" base. It is in, what I consider, very good condition. A little surface rust and loss of silver paint, but no breaks. The burner needs a new cotter pin to hold it in place, but that's it. Would make a super steam punk or industrial style lamp(I envision a regular light fixture on top with a low watt or flicker bulb inside of the copper coils) Please feel free to contact me with any questions or any additional information you may want or might have on this. This is out of my Grandfather's estate. He was a master electrician and it is new but he put it into the Chromalox box because he stored everything in boxes. The instructions are also here for installation. They are for the chromolox but they are identical pieces. The thermostat shows no signs of wear and is in new condition. Neat old find! Antique, Major Faucet Hot Water Heater, Milk Glass Decent Label, steam punk??
RARE! Vintage Major Heater MFG Co. New York. 110 Volt, 1.4 amp electric hot water heater. I think. But am not sure, this is an early instant hot water heater designed to be placed over a tap or faucet handle for instant hot water. I don't know if it was marketed for home use or industrial or what. Perhaps hospital or military? I was not able to find information on the device or the manufacturer, if anybody has more info, feel free to educate me. Regardless, this is a very neat piece, the cylinder looks to be milk glass, and the color label is in decent shape. This item is sold as is without return option.
