Vintage Wood Bathroom Barber Medicine Cabinet Chest#994-12 Reminiscent of Haywood Wakefield style furniture. Classic rounded edges on blonde. Hardwood maple(or possibly pecan) and along the corners of the heavy beveled mirror. Mirror has minor scratches and very little delaminated spots. Holds three glass shelves, all with small chips, but very usable. Glass towel bar in excellent condition and has a nice, little shelf behind towel bar for small things. Faceted glass knobs finish off this sturdy piece of furniture. There is NO KEY for the lock. Overall cabinet measures: 27" tall x 19.25" wide x 5.5" deep. There are two vintage hinges on the left side of the mirror and a white porcelain knob on the right side of the mirror. It can be hung by attaching it with screws throught the holes in the backing into studs or another secure hanging device. Vintage / Antique Oak Wood Toilet Tank & Oak Lid – Wall Mount – Parts or Restore
Welcome and thanks for stopping by. Offered for sale is: OAK TOILET TANK& LIDS– No Liner It measures approx. 22-1/4” wide at the top and approx. 21.5” wide at the bottom. The depth is approx. 7-1/4” at the sides and it measures approx. 15-1/4” high. The detached solid oak top lid measures ¾” thick and the attached solid oak bottom is 1-1/8” thick. The solid oak tank sides are a little over ¾” thick. Refinished and Repaired 30 years ago The detached oak top and attached oak bottom of the toilet tank are antique but my Dad replaced the rounded front corners. Inside tank supports, and the front panels about 30 years ago. He either replaced or re-planed the 3/4" thick side boards. He refinished it at that time with a medium brown stain. My Dad always used several coats of polyurethane as a finishing sealer. The finish is very ... moresmooth not rough. This tank is the wall mount style. He did not attach the top oak lid in case I wanted to use it on a modern porcelain toilet tank instead of the modern porcelain tank lid(see photo) This is a great display item or you could restore it to working condition if desired. Reproductions are still made and parts should be available. The poly finish has some light scratches. The detached antique oak top lid has a protruding corner, and the attached antique oak bottom has a small marred area on the front left side and the curved side edges have some old age splits– see pictures for condition. It is old and has character. It is very nice and not abused. It is very sturdy and heavy. Please read the description. View all the pictures, and ask ALL questions before bidding. NICE Older Vintage Solid Brass Toilet Paper Holder With Wood Bar
NICE Older Vintage Solid Brass Toilet Paper Holder With Wood Bar WOW- went to my favorite flea market this weekend and found some awesome treasures for you- I’ll be listing all week. So keep checking! Here is a very nice old toilet paper holder- I'm calling it older vintage. But I do think it could be old enough to be antique- definitely early 1900s. It's hard to tell because it has been polished- and you can see just peeks of the old dark finish on the inside edges and at the base where the backpiece meets the two arms. It's a solid brass toilet paper holder- with a wood bar in the center that has a very worn black finish originally, then a white finish over that, and BOTH finish are very worn, especially in three lines in the center. That's just the paint, though- the toilet paper holder, and the bar are in excellent solid, ... moresturdy and working condition. The bar has two brass finials that hold it in place. Unscrew one, and the bar comes out that holdes the bar that holds the tp. The frame of the holder is also solid brass. it measures 6 1/2" wide by 3 1/8" tall at the backpiece that mounts on the wall, and that backpiece has two screw mount holes that are 4 3/8" apart, center of hole to center of hole. The toilet paper"arms" are 5 1/4" apart but the piece is 6 1/8" wide in total finial to finial. The space for the toilet paper is 4 3/4" between the arms measuring on the inside and the wood bar is 1" diameter. This is a heavy quality piece- weighing just over 1 1/4 lbs- it was made as a lasting work horse and has! Excellent condition- totally sound and ready to go. An original antique toilet seat this was refinished about 30 years ago and has been out of use for years. It measures about 15 1/2" across by about 15 and 3/4" long. Hardware is present but not perfect please see photos 9 etc looks like part is upside down. Looks to be quite early hardware. Looks good overall some light wear etc. please see photos for overall condition of the seat has a few splits etc. but is structurally sound. Any questions please ask! I got this from an elderly man that lived near the San Luis Obispo train depot and his barn was full of stuff he gathered over the years that had anything to do with the Railroad. This is a medicine cabinet he says hung in the bathroom of Southern Pacific Milling Co which used to be located next to the depot MANY years ago. On the back of the cabinet. It says"TO SOUTHERN PACIFIC MILLING CO, SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA" so we presume it was sent to them from another place when it was built, in the late 1890's. I did google and found some references to SP Milling Co along WITH SP RailRoad so I am confused as to how they interacted with each other. The cabinet measures 20 inches wide. 5 inches deep, 26& 1/4 inches tall. Orginal mirror and hardware. As you can see, it has many shelves inside. Great piece of history! The metal parts display signs of age such as tarnish. Scratches, discoloration, dirt/debris etc. The wood dowel also displays nicks, wood wear, some possible tape residue?
