Vintage Cast Iron Porcelain Kitchen Farm House Sink 52" Drainboard
Bought an old house and this needed to come out to include some modern conveniences. I wasn't able to clean it up as nice as I wanted as the outside faucet isn't working. It's very large. 52 inches, with a wide apron across the front. It has some pitting and a few little dings in the sink basin. It includes the original wall mounting brackets. Minor chips due appear at various areas at the bottom of the sink. But are very small and only add to the authenticity of this great sink. Some light rust stains DO APPEAR on the drainboard. and the buyer may want to add an additional clear coat to the sink to increase the gloss of the sink. From years of use. The luster of the sink has dulled slightly and an added clear coat wold further help protect the sink from additional dulling and chipping. Faucet: The back-mount faucet is in good vintage/working condition ... moreand fits the sink fine. However the round flange plate pieces which cover the extra space between the faucet and the sink holes have been lost and ARE NOT included with the sink, but can be purchased at any hardware store. Some scratches in the top chrome coating are present. Also the internal pieces of the aerator ARE ABSENT. But are also available for purchase at your local hardware store as is standard procedure when buying a used sink. Mounting Brackets: The Standard mounting brackets are the same size and both manufactured by Standard Plumbing. But DO NOT match. Although they function almost exactly the same, each bracket if from a different era. When they are placed one on top of the other, the mounting hole do match up, however one bracket has more mounting holes than the other. This however doesn't affect the functionality of the brackets. Cast iron white porcelain farm sink. Porcelain has 2 chips one on the front on the apron on the right side in front of the basin. The other is on the back lower corner on the Drainboard side. We have touched in these chips with bin primer to prevent rust stains and further rusting. The basin has some very light staining and pock marks Look at the pics the porcelain in the basin looks to be wearing a little thin. This auction is for a used Vintage Farm House Style Double Basin white Porcelain over cast iron sink. The manufacturing date of 9-5-1939 is molded on the bottom of the larger sink along with the manufacturing company symbol of R within a circle and a C. It could stand for Richmond company but I am not sure. This is clearly visible in one of the pictures. This is a used sink but it appears to be in good condition; there are no cracks or dings but wear and tear. Some light staining, scratches, scrapes, etc. There is old paint on some of the bottom and on parts of the sides and edges which are clearly visible in the pictures. The sink is approx 42" wide. 23" front to back. The apron is 2" ... moreand the back splash is 9" The basins have a length of 17" by a width of 17" The left shallow basin is around 8" deep. And the right deep basin is around 14" deep. Keep in mind that all measurements are approximate. I will be listing the metal cabinet that this sink came with and rested on top of in a couple of days. The item that you are purchasing is a Vintage/ Antique Heavy Brass Faucet that was rescued from a very old and fancy house. This is an excellent piece with a great look, the faucet weighs in at 3.042 pounds, the middle faucet is approximately 14 cm from front to back, and the base of the faucet is approximately 18 cm across from left to right and approximately 8 cm from front to back, and the one handle is approximately 7 cm across, the only detail to note is that there is only one faucet handle on the item, the other one is missing, you can try and find the other one or you can add your own 2 new styles on the item if you wish, the faucet is showing some usual wear with the age, and a green tinge all over along with a little patch of rust at the back of the faucet base, this is still a great find, believed to be brass, look at images for ... moreconfirmation of condition.

It has some light scratching with just a couple of marks I would consider a little heavier. The soap dish has a bit more wear- more noticeable scratching on top(maybe from cleaning) and is a little dull in spots on the bottom with light surface wear. I am selling this faucet in as found condition. This faucet may or may not need washers. stems or what ever internal maintenance parts of a vintage faucet. not sure of exact age. My house was built in 1989 this was here 60 years ago when I moved in. You won.T have to make 5 trips to hardware store.I just did all the leg work. I took it all apart. took out all the seals,washers,o rings. and rubber seats. cleand it and put in all new seals. it is now nice and tight and ready to install to work for another 100 years or so. it weights 4 lb solid brass. there are scratches,dings,scufs etc. but shined up looks great for its age.

Vintage White Antique Cast Iron Farm House Sink No 2 Standard
This was pulled during a renovation on an old farmhouse located in New England. I do not have details on this sink as I do not know much about it. It is extremely heavy so is a pick up only item. It is obvious that the previous owners used this to clean paint brushes or as a second sink. The sink has a washboard/drain on the left side and some rust spots and scratches on a couple corners. I would say it would need to be refinished. I am able to get a lot of the staining off by scrubbing but it would take a boat load of elbow grease to get it clean. Let me know if you need any other info or more pictures- I will be adding measurements tonight- just thought of that. Item is sold as is and pick up only. So bid carefully.
