Here is an American Standard alcove tub from 1959. It is in'Regency Blue' with a left-hand drain. It is in good overall condition with minimal rust but almost every surface is lightly scuffed/scratched. The floor's enamel is worn with the remaining outlines of tread stick-on shells ... morefrom the previous owner. There are a few spots on the interior where the enamel is scratched, and there are a few small chips here and there throughout. Please check out the photos for condition. The drain hole has a little bit of rust showing but not much. A rust sealer should keep it from spreading prior to installation. The overflow hole shows a bit of cracking in the enamel, though that should be covered by the overflow assembly. There is a large chip on one of the edges. Though this should be covered by tile once installed(see pics) This isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's a well-used survivor. If you can live with some cosmetic imperfections and wear, then this is a great tub! GENERAL NOTES: I just bought out the inventory of a plumbing store that had belonged to one plumber or another in Lincoln Nebraska since the 50s. It was FULL of antique toilets of all kinds. Over a thousand lids, old hardware, handles, all kinds of things. I'm going to be listing it slowly for probably a year or more. So check back if you're into antique plumbing stuff! Here we have an antique Kohler PLACID one-piece toilet. This one was on their show floor. And they must have done a VERY good job cleaning it, because even the inside of the tank is sparkling. The tank hardware was either removed during cleaning, or maybe scavenged from another toilet, because it shows use. My warehouse does not even have a floor drain, so I don't really have the ability to test these old toilets, so it's sold as-is, and maybe need some work ... morefor all I know. Lid is dated 1950. Antique Vintage Kohler Bathroom Sink Shelfback Faucet Set 1950's
This faucet set was removed from a Kohler shelfback sink. The sink was beyond saving so this was removed. It includes the drain/pop-up assembly as well. This type of faucet set would be found on Kohler sinks from the 1950's and 60's, typically cast iron sinks. All of the faucet trim pieces are in good shape. With a few nicks/scratches/pitting here and there but nothing terrible(see pics) The spout is also in good shape with a few small nicks, and the pop-up rod moves freely and operates properly. The pop-up assembly's plating is also in very nice shape with great original shine. The drain trim piece and stopper are also in nice shape. Check photos for condition. This is the twist-and-lift stopper design that was used. Both of the valves/stems move freely. Though I would expect to rebuild/replace all of the washers and packing ... morebefore use. Vintage Metal medicine Cabinet lighted. Mirror is in very good condition. Door opens from left to right. There are 4 brackets for shelves inside, also has a tooth brush holder on the inside of the door. Cabinet was made to be recessed. There is an electrical outlet at the bottom of the sconce on the right side. At the bottom of the left sconce is a push button switch for the lights. This switch has a good sounding click but it sticks a little. It has an overall measurement of 24" tall X 23" wide X 3" deep when mounted in the wall. Antique Vintage American Standard Bath Tub Drain Overflow Assembly 1950's
Here is an American Standard tub overflow/drain assembly that dates from the 1950's. This is the design where the stopper is a'pop-up' type that works more like a sink. All components are brass except for the overflow cover and control lever. Which are zinc/pot metal. It operates as it should. The plating on the stopper and drain flange are scuffed/nicked/dinged and worn from years of use. The overflow and lever are very corroded and pitted. As is common for these metals as they age. Check all photos for condition. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. I would recommend replacing all of the rubber gaskets and joint packing prior to installation. Here is an American Standard faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. This is for a tub& shower application. There is knob on the spout that acts as a diverter to turn on the shower. There is also a matching shower pipe escutcheon that's included. The chrome on the handles& caps is in nice shape with very minimal pitting. The stems also have minimal wear to their chrome. The escutcheons are lightly pitted and corroded with some scratches, but fortunately replacements can be found online. The spout has lightly worn plating along with some scuffs and scratches, but overall it's in very good shape. The shower pipe escutcheon is fairly pitted, and the set screw has been replaced with a new stainless steel set screw. Both valves open and close as they should. Antique Vintage Bathroom Sink Shelfback Faucet 1950's Parts or to rework
This is an old Bathroom Faucet I have it listed for parts or to rework. I think it is all there but I'm sure it will need washers and maybe even seats in it and the handle on the hot side some pit on the top you can see in the picture and I didn't notice till I was listing it is real bad on the bottom edge. You can use it but it is rough. And I haven't had it apart and I know that can be a problem with the handles. It has some of the parts for the drain pop up. But I have not got the part that turns that goes around the spout to turn. It is there and looks good but it is stuck. I think it can be freed up and usable. Standard Sink in classic pastel pink! Includes mounting plates. Porcelain toilet paper holder, shower/ bath tub soap dish, and a wall soap dish. Beautiful artistic 1950's design with a shelf back and integrated porcelain faucet. This sink was in an early 1950's home that was in the process of demolition. I managed to save a 1951 Crane Drexel sink and accessories from one bathroom and this beautiful Standard sink in the other bathroom. There is some pitting on the chrome handles and the legs. The porcelain is in excellent condition with only a 1/4" nick on the right side of the bowl(surface nick) and a 1/8" nick on the inside of the bowl. Both are nominal blemishes with no impact to the overall condition of the sink. It measures 22" wide and 18" from the front lip to the wall. Integrated spout. Faucet handles turn ... morenicely. The sink stop opens and closes perfectly. Let me know if there are any questions. It's heavy. And with the accessories, it will be shipped in two boxes. Here is an old'Standard' utility tub that was removed from a home that dated from the 1950's. This is the'Lakewood' model. According to the stamping on the underside of the tub, this was made in 1953. This was mounted in a cabinet, though these were intended to be mounted on a pedestal(the pedestal is not included) using the tabs on the bottom of the basin. There are also tabs that have been removed on the underside of the rim, they would have originally allowed tubs to be ganged up. The porcelain is in good condition. Here is a nice old'NuTone' exhaust fan that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. It is in good working order. This was mounted directly to the rafters so there are no mounting bars included, though there are slots in the body for them(see pics) The cover is stamped aluminum, and there are some spots of over-paint along the edges from the ceiling that it was removed from. Here is a'Standard' shower head. This would be found in bathrooms from the 1930's through the 1950's; chrome plated solid brass. Please note: this particular model has the supply pipe permanently attached to the head so it cannot be swapped. There are some jaw marks and crimps on the supply pipe. Antique Vintage American Standard Re-Nu Sink Drain Assembly 1950's
Here is a complete drain assembly with stopper that was removed from a 1950's American-Standard bathroom sink. This compliments their'Re-Nu' lavatory faucet sets. The tailpiece is is short and only has about an inch or so for connection. The plating is in decent shape with a few jawmarks and mineral deposits. The drain flange shows the most wear, and the stopper shows normal wear. Plan on replacing any gaskets as any rubber parts are dry and brittle from age. Please check all photos for condition. Antique Vintage Kohler Single Handle Shower Valve Faucet Shower Controls 1950's
Here is a nice Kohler single-handle shower valve that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. It is in good shape overall. And the handle moves properly from opened to closed. The plating is in good shape, with a small nick at the top of the main cover and some light scuffing from years of cleaning. The handle is in good shape as well, please check all photos for condition. The valve body has a little bit of mortar on it. But nothing that should interfere with installation. No leaks were evident, but a rebuild may be prudent prior to installation based on the age. Antique Vintage 'Speakman' Plumbing Supply Valve 1950's
Here is an old'Speakman' plumbing valve that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. These valves were used in many applications. This one was used to control the amount of flow to a shower head. The trim pieces are in very nice shape. With the most wear to the escutcheon nut(see pics) The knob has some dimples and pocks but they appear to be from the factory casting. The stem has almost no chrome plating left, but it operates as it should. Due to age, it is advisable to replace the washers/packing/gaskets prior to use. Please check all photos for condition. Please contact me prior to purchase if you are interested in shipping or delivery. Here is a cast iron utility tub that was removed from a home that was built in the 1950's. It is an American-Standard'Lakeview' model that dates from 1953. It was installed in a custom wooden cabinet that was too far gone to save. These were typically found with cast iron pedestals that attached to mounting tabs on the underside of the tub. This is for the tub only, there is no stand included. The porcelain is in fair shape with some dull spots and wear/scuffs as well as a few spots of discoloration ... morefrom mineral deposits. There are tabs that have been removed on the underside of the rim(so that it could fit into it's previous cabinet) But these were only used to attach multiple tubs together so it shouldn't affect anything. For less than a new plastic tub you can get a sturdy cast iron tub that has many years of use left in it!
