Antique Vintage Tub Diverter Controls With Spout 1940's
Here is a nice old tub control/diverter and spout. This was removed from a 1930-40's era bathroom. There are no maker's marks that I could see. But my guess would be'Central' or'Speakman' I'm also not sure if the diverter lever is original. All of the faucet trim pieces are in fair shape. With a few nicks and scratches here and there but nothing terrible. There is some light pitting in spots as well, see photos for details. The escutcheons are stamped brass, with some light scuffing and swirl marks from years of cleaning but the plating is decent. The ferrules are a little chewed up from wrench jaws, the close-up of one represents the condition of them all. The spout has spots of worn/scuffed plating. And a few small dings here and there(see pics) Both of the valves/stems move freely as well as the diverter. Though ... moreI would expect to rebuild/replace all of the washers and packing before use. The inlets are 1/2" NPT(see pics) The set will be broken down into components for shipment. Antique Vintage Tub Drain and Overflow Assembly 1940's
Here is a drain/overflow assembly that was removed from a 1940's-era tub. There are no maker's marks that I could find. But it matched all of the period fixtures in the bathroom. This is an internal-stopper type, with a plug that fits into the T-union and operates properly. The plating on the overflow and drain flange are worn and missing in spots. All components appear to be brass. The only part that is not original is the screw that keeps the strainer in place, check all photos for condition. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. I would recommend replacing all of the rubber gaskets and joint packing prior to installation. CLEAN Vintage 1940's STANDARD SINK Bath Bathroom Solid Heavy PORCELAIN So Calif
Wonderful vintage and very heavy solid porcelain bathroom sink. Made by the Standard company, in 1948, according to the numbers on the bottom of the sink. This sink had been in a barn storage container for many years. And it appears to have been used very little. It is white in color. The stainless drain cover is still the original, and is stamped"STANDARD" Includes the original faucets and drain hardware, and the two"Standard" company mounting brackets. Almost perfect condition, with only a couple of very tiny flaws, which are hard to find, and don't show up in the pictures. THERE ARE NO CRACKS, OR CHIPS in the porcelain. SIZE: 22" wide. Antique Vintage Bath Tub Faucet Set 1940's Antique Plumbing
Here is a tub/shower faucet set that was removed from a 1940's-era bathroom. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. This is designed for directing the water down to a spout-only or up to a shower-only, there is no diverter. The upper outlet is plugged, since the shower control for this particular faucet was on the tub spout(not included) Of course, it could also be used in a walk-in shower. The spout that was installed with it was a Crane piece, though I'm pretty sure that this isn't a Crane faucet. The'HOT' cap is missing. And the'COLD' cap is a bit dull from wear(see pics) The handles are lightly pitted, and the escutcheons have just a few light scuffs here and there. 1920's 1930's 1940's 1950's Vintage 1/2" NPT Solid Brass Gas Valve
Up for sale is a vintage 1/2" NPT gas valve. It has been tested and is in excellent working condition. The spring and valve mechanism move freely. RARE! Small Vintage Late 1940's Porcelain Sink. Air Stream, Avion, Camp Trailer Offered here is an itty bitty sink! This all porcelain sink was created in the Art Deco style by a company called Toyo Toki of Japan. This particular company began making porcelain fixtures in 1917. However this sink came out of a vintage, late 1940's, Avion camp trailer. I couldn't believe it when I saw how small this was, especially for a porcelain sink. I have bowls bigger than this! It would be perfect in a kitchen nook, mud room, porch, pantry, child's playhouse or.put it back into a restoration camper or trailer. This little sink comes with the faucet and even the drain plug. This is the'Custom Madera' model in the very rarely seen'Royal Copenhagen Blue' This is in nice shape overall, there are no cracks or chips; this has an elongated bowl. There are some scuffs scattered throughout on the outside finished surfaces. Antique Vintage Eljer Toilet Tank Lid Model 5160 1940's
Here is a white Eljer tank lid from 1944. There are no model markings that I can see but I'm fairly certain that this is a 5160 from a vintage catalog that I referenced. Up for sale is this 1940 Standard double drain board single basin farm sink. The sink is approx 60" wide at widest by 22" front to back by 9 1/2" high. The back splash is 8" and the front lip is 1 1/2" The faucet holes are 8" o/c and are standard size wall mount.The sink set is 70+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs wear and tear. Sm nicks, scratches, scrapes, etc etc. The sink is clean, touched up and ready for a installation. You just do not find character like this anymore and are getting more and more difficult to find, and great investment as well. Antique Vintage American Standard Bath Tub Drain Overflow Assembly 1940's 1950's
Here is an American-Standard tub drain/overflow assembly that was removed from a tub that dated from the 1940's. Though this trim style was used well into the 1950's. Please note: it is missing the stopper. The overflow plate is in decent shape and has the usual pitting in spots; the lever moves freely. The drain flange is in decent shape as well with some scratches and nicks from years of service. Though the plating is mostly complete. Please check all photos for condition. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. The original(dry) rubber gaskets are included. And I would also recommend replacing the packing at all of the compression joints. Here is a'Standard' shower head. This would be found in bathrooms from the 1930's through the 1950's; chrome plated solid brass. Please note: this particular model has the supply pipe permanently attached to the head so it cannot be swapped. There are some jaw marks and crimps on the supply pipe. Vintage 1940's Adjustable Chrome Plated Sink Legs & Towel Bar
For your consideration we have a vintage set of chrome plated adjustable sink legs and towel bar with bracket. The sink they came off of was stamped February 13. 1940. They do have wear appropriate to their age. Some mild pitting and discoloration. But still very useable. They are set at 27" but can be adjusted up or down.
