Antique original nickel plated brass towel rod with one holder. NICE! Measures 20 1/2" long. 5/8" thick. Holder extends 3 1/2" from the wall. Mounting base attaches with 2 screws to the wall. Base of holder is bent and filthy- should be an easy fix to straighten. I am selling an old collection purchased from a hardware store that had been in business over 100 years. VINTAGE LATE VICTORIAN 3 ARM SOLID BRASS TOWEL RACK/HOLDER BRASSCRAFTERS? 9 pics
VINTAGE LATE VICTORIAN 3 ARM SOLID BRASS TOWEL RACK/HOLDER BRASSCRAFTERS? 9 pics Subject: An antique. Late Victorian, three arm, solid brass with old nickel plate towel rack/ holder. This is a very heavy, early piece which measures about 11 1/2 inches at it's longest point by 4 9/16 inches at it's highest point. The overall weight of this piece is about 2 pounds and 5 ounces. The nickel plating on this piece does appear to have some oxidation issues going on. As an after thought experiment, after I took the photos, I sprayed a small amount of orange glow on a rag, and along with some elbow grease did some cleaning on the top arm. The results were that this item retains more than 95 percent of it's nickel plating, and that most of that has a very lite surface oxidation, that would more than likely clean up very well if one used ... morea proper polish instead of orange glow. The piece does have some paint residue on the bracket, most of that being on the back of the bracket, as well as some small paint splatters but here again the proper polish would more than likely remove most of the paint. This piece is unmarked from what I can tell but it does appear to have the type of high quality one would find in one of The Brasscrafters pieces. Measurements of entire TP Holder are 6 1/4 wide" x 4 1/2 high" x 2 1/2 deep" There are 2 supporting holes for securing to the wall. However. The mounting screws do not come with TP Holder. The BRASS Back Plate measures: 1 3/4" high x 6 1/2" wide and has heavy patina. The wooden roller is in excellent condition even through decades of use. There is a solid brass rod that inserts through the wooden roller. With two set screw knobs attached at each end. You can use either end to unscrew the knob, remove brass rod, place TP on roller, and then replace the rod and secure the screw knob. This process takes about 30 seconds. Wow talk about flash back. I have not seen this Scott Paper dispenser in ages! Please look at the pictures. I bought this from a guy who collected items from his era. I can pin point a date. But very rare, hard to find. He said he bought it back in the day from a gas station that was being torn down. He had it hanging in his garage. Its dusty-dingy-paint splatter, some tape on one side. I just gave it a wipe down. The crank turns with ease. The logo SCOTT is on the front cover. There is a model number 2U191. He gave me a key. He said that he doesn't think its not the original key. Lovely vintage soap holder with looks to be a small towel holder. Made of iron and ceramic. Ceramic dish is attached with wing nuts underneath. You can see there is rust by the nuts. Vintage chrome bathroom fixture soap and towel Holder Maybe for shaving?
Vintage/ Antique Bathroom Soap Fixture Original to a house built in 1918. Was removed when the bathroom got upgraded. This is absolutely heavy duty. Thick, high quality, very solid& durable. There are two holes, side by side for mounting. Screw two screws into it, and it's set. It feels to weigh about 5-7lbs. It holds soap. Towel, and possibly shaving equipment? Some people think that this is for a towel, soap, shaving brush, and leather sharpening belt for the old fashioned razors. Some think it's just for a clean dry towel on top, soap, then a wet towel on bottom on the hook. I honestly do not know. This would be a beautiful addition to your vintage bathroom. Especially if you polish it up a little bit!

7 Pcs Old Bathroom Fixtures, Green Ceramic Towel Holders, Hooks, Tumbler Holder,
This listing is for a 7 piece vintage bathroom fixture set. This is green colored ceramic. The pieces are two sets of towel holders. On the back of these there are holes for the towel bar, one has larger holes than the other, one was probably meant for a bath towel, and the smaller holes for a wash cloth or a hand towel, also there is a tumbler holder, or cup holder, this was before the days of disposable cups, and last 2 bathroom hooks. These hooks could be used for any clothing including a bath robe. The pictures are of all 7 pieces, a second view of the 7 using a flash, that changes the color some, the sets of towel rod holders, these are each of the four pieces about 3 1/4" long, the tumbler holder3 1/2" long, about 1 3/4" at the tallest place in the back that would fit against the wall. Looking at the bottom of the holder, ... morethe set of hooks, each has 2 hooks one shorter than the other, a different view of the hooks, the bottoms of the hooks, the last 2 pictures showing you the crazing on the towel rod holders. Length is 21" and distance from wall is about 5 1/2" which would permit drying room for two fluffy towels. The nickel is in very good shape and has never been painted. I think it is brass underneath and a magnet does not stick to it. Both mounting brackets hold the rods securely when placed on the wall. Could also be placed on the ends of a kitchen island as well as in the bathroom. Very charming and authentic item for your restoration!
