There is scale on the copper; I cleaned a small portion with a mild vinegar solution and a net-scrubber…so it can be done…I’ll save the rest for you; There is a split in the wood on the bottom. The wood is oak that was painted over many years ago. Lots has since flaked off, you couldn't get that look if you tried. This has the liner and internal parts. I have no idea if it would still hold water. The porcelain"PUSH" handle would be very hard to find on it's own. It's missing some screws but when you push it, it does operate the intrenal mehanism.
