vintage antique toilet CASE? bowl tank & lid, no seat, 1933 cranberry red! 30s
GENERAL NOTES: I just bought out the inventory of a plumbing store that had belonged to one plumber or another in Lincoln Nebraska since the 50s. It was FULL of antique toilets of all kinds. Over a thousand lids, old hardware, handles, all kinds of things. I'm going to be listing it slowly for probably a year or more. So check back if you're into antique plumbing stuff! Here we have a striking cranberry red toilet. I took pictures both with and without flash. To try to give a better idea of the color. According to the patent number found on a paper label on the back, and also a date stamped on the rim of the tank, I believe it to have been made in 1933. I think colored toilets like this were pretty unusual back then. The date stamp does say JUN 82 1933, but I think they probably accidentally reversed the 2 and 8. PLEASE NOTE that ... morethe tank lid corner has been broke and reglued, as shown in the closeup. Also, the toilet does need some cleaning- both mineralization stains and some paint blobs. I don't really have any facilities in my warehouse with which to do more than wipe these things down unfortunately- not even a floor drain. But the inside of the tank seems relatively clean. Vintage / Antique Oak Wood Toilet Tank & Oak Lid – Wall Mount – Parts or Restore
Welcome and thanks for stopping by. Offered for sale is: OAK TOILET TANK& LIDS– No Liner It measures approx. 22-1/4” wide at the top and approx. 21.5” wide at the bottom. The depth is approx. 7-1/4” at the sides and it measures approx. 15-1/4” high. The detached solid oak top lid measures ¾” thick and the attached solid oak bottom is 1-1/8” thick. The solid oak tank sides are a little over ¾” thick. Refinished and Repaired 30 years ago The detached oak top and attached oak bottom of the toilet tank are antique but my Dad replaced the rounded front corners. Inside tank supports, and the front panels about 30 years ago. He either replaced or re-planed the 3/4" thick side boards. He refinished it at that time with a medium brown stain. My Dad always used several coats of polyurethane as a finishing sealer. The finish is very ... moresmooth not rough. This tank is the wall mount style. He did not attach the top oak lid in case I wanted to use it on a modern porcelain toilet tank instead of the modern porcelain tank lid(see photo) This is a great display item or you could restore it to working condition if desired. Antique Vintage Keystone Potteries Pottery Toilet Tank & Lid 1930's

Here is a nice old toilet tank& lid from The Keystone Pottery Co. One of the many vitreous china manufacturers in Trenton, NJ at the turn of the 20th century. There is no bowl included. This is just for the tank& lid. See all photos for condition. Both parts are in very nice shape with no crazing in the glaze. The original porcelain flush handle is in excellent condition as well with no cracks or chips. The only real items of note are a small chip on either side of the tank lid. And a small group of light scuffs/scratches along the right side of the tank. See photos 3,4,5 for those. The guts look to be original. There is no flush tube included with the tank. The only piece that's ... moremissing is the rubber ball valve which looks to have dry-rotted away(this tank was found in a barn after what appears to be many years of storage) The tank is designed to be mounted to the wall, and based on the markings the pieces were manufactured in 1931. Antique Vintage Eljer Toilet Tank Lid Model 5160 1940's
Here is a white Eljer tank lid from 1944. There are no model markings that I can see but I'm fairly certain that this is a 5160 from a vintage catalog that I referenced. If you need more photos or any extra info please let me know. There is a small chip missing from the back corner. Beautiful antique oak toilet seat and lid with brass hardware for an old wooden tank toilet. Lid measures 14 1/2" x 12 3/4" Seat measures 15 1/2" x 13 1/4" I'll be listing this until I move at the end of the summer. I'm not moving it! Antique White Porcelain High or Wall Tank Style Toilet Tank Lid - Early 1900's
Here's a great turn of the century porcelain wall tank lid. This porcelain lid has aged very well with only minor chips. Blemishes, and discolorations. Should clean up even more with a thorough cleaning. There is crazing to the surface that is expected for porcelain this age. Sadly the tank was badly cracked(can be seen in another listing that I'm selling the internal parts) Lid measure 22 1/4" wide at the back, 7 1/2" wide at the outer humps, and 7" wide at the dip. Pickup is preferred and can store until you can make arrangements as long as paid for in advanced. Shipping will be heavy, but well packed. Antique Vintage American Standard F2000 Corallin Pink Toilet Tank Lid 1940's
Here is a tank lid for an American-Standard'Master One Piece' toilet in pink(Corallin) The model number is F-2000. Check the inside of your tank for the same number, these models also had elongated seats. This dates from 1947, and it's in very nice shape. Old Solid Oak. Wooden Toilet Tank. In very good condition for to its age and Usage. Has inner copper tank, Original Wood Lid, Working Flush button/Mechanism, and inside parts(mostly original except float) Wood is in very good condition with no rotting, but has few layers of paint on surface. Tank measures 18" tall, 22" wide, almost 8" deep. Wood is 7/8" thick. Unsure of origin/maker, has some markings on back, mostly specs of tank. Would make a great restoration piece. Antique Solid Copper Toilet Tank with Lid Underneath the old white paint is an antique. Solid copper, wall mount toilet tank with original lid and porcelain(or milk glass) handle. Some internal parts are present as is the brass elbow fitting that threads onto the bottom. In fantastic condition for its age! There is an insignificant bend and a small crack on the top lip of the tank which cannot be seen under the lid and will not affect operation(see pic#11) Sturdy and solid, there are no dents, seams look good but the tank has not been tested, being sold as is. Antique "Standard" Devoro Toilet Bowl and Tank-Lid Circa 1916 Vintage
This 1916"Standard" Devoro toilet with rare"serpentine" tank was recently removed from its original installation. This type of toilet is called an"offset-tube" toilet. It is all original. This logo is one of the oldest known for the"Standard Sanitary Co" Toilet bowl has been acid-washed to remove hard water deposits. Toilet tank-lid has a small chip in the back corner.toilet bowl has small chip in the front base shown in photos. I am selling the toilet bowl and the toilet tank lid and including(for free) the tank. The rationale for this is that the tank has a hair-line crack. I do not know if it leaks as it is a very fine crack(shown in photos) I understand some people line the inside of the tank with epoxy to stabilize and correct a leak if a leak is present.
