I obtained this in times past to eventually use ... moreat my shop- but I need to sell it. The plumbing parts are solid brass. I had this buffed out bright and it looks fantastic. The china bowl and mount has no chips or cracks, and no stains in the bowl itself. Some staining where it bolts to the wall and where the plumbing contacts the china. Brass is marked"Taylor" and has patent number. It is untested with water. It will need usual rubber gaskets and pipe joint compound on threads prior to plumbing it in. Knob feels good when turning, it springs back and forth. Will need a rubber washer where the knob/ valve unit screws in. I am including 2 different rubber faucet washers for the valve with it along with the original one- not sure which one it needs(see photo) I am confident it will perform fine and is a beautiful, classic vintage specimen. Selling"AS-IS" Measures 11 3/4" out from the wall and bowl measures 9 1/2" at widest part. Weighs 8 pounds without packing. Will be carefully packed and shipped USPS insured in the lower 48. This does not have a sprayer head. This would be a great unit for a walk in tiled shower. Vintage Art Deco 1946-1948 Stratmore Solid Brass Nickel Faucet RARE Modern Retro
Up for auction is a vintage Stratmore Art Deco faucet that dates from circa 1946-1948. So just at the very end of the Art Deco era. I believe it to be this timeframe based on the patents that I was able to find online. Based on the extremely limited amount of information available on this faucet, as well as no comparable fixtures to be found online, I believe this to be a fairly rare piece. Given that this was also at the end of the Art Deco era, I'm guessing that relatively few of these were ever produced. The reason that I'm thinking this dates from 1946-1948 is based on the patent application date and the date it was granted. The front of this faucet shows'PAT. PENDING' which would indicate that it was made in that timeframe. From what I'm told, this was in use up until 1948 or 1949 in my grandmother's house. Since ... morethen, it has been sitting in a dark, dry locked room in her basement. However, now that we're tasked with closing out her estate, it can once again be enjoyed by someone! It's a very cool design, everything is a right angle except for the nozzle and the wall plates. The soap dish lifts out of the faucet itself. Each of the valves are marked with an Art Deco H or C(see pictures! There really are only two tiny flaws that I found with this piece- the nozzle has plier marks and as seen in the last picture, one of the corners by a valve has a tiny nick in the metal. Otherwise, a very unique faucet, extremely rare, and one that really shows the true design style of the Art Deco era. Shipping will be FedEx Ground or Home Delivery, cost depends on location. ITEM DESCRIPTION: Rare original antique/vintage porcelain over cast iron jadeite or mint GREEN Kohler Farmhouse bib-style kitchen sink with drainboard. Also back-mount faucet. And two Standard mounting brackets are included in the purchase price. CONDITION: Sink: Good vintage condition. No major chips or cracks in the porcelain. Minor chips due appear at various areas at the bottom of the sink. But are very small and only add to the authenticity of this great sink. Some light rust stains DO APPEAR on the drainboard. and the buyer may want to add an additional clear coat to the sink to increase the gloss of the sink. From years of use. The luster of the sink has dulled slightly and an added clear coat wold further help protect the sink from additional dulling and chipping. Faucet: The back-mount faucet is in good vintage/working condition ... moreand fits the sink fine. However the round flange plate pieces which cover the extra space between the faucet and the sink holes have been lost and ARE NOT included with the sink, but can be purchased at any hardware store. Some scratches in the top chrome coating are present. Also the internal pieces of the aerator ARE ABSENT. But are also available for purchase at your local hardware store as is standard procedure when buying a used sink. Mounting Brackets: The Standard mounting brackets are the same size and both manufactured by Standard Plumbing. But DO NOT match. Although they function almost exactly the same, each bracket if from a different era. When they are placed one on top of the other, the mounting hole do match up, however one bracket has more mounting holes than the other. This however doesn't affect the functionality of the brackets. I’ve only seen the toilet bowl one other time and have never seen one with a matching tank. The tank is very rare. In 35 years of restoring houses and working in the field of historic preservation I’ve never seen one with the lever that protrudes through the top of the lid. All the ports inside the toilet rim are clean and work properly. New spud washer and brass fitting have replaced the one shown in the photo(visible in You Tube Video) New flush valve has been installed. Toilet is has been checked out and is working properly. There are no chips on the toilet. Some crazing in the finish on the bowl and bottom flange of toilet where it’s Anchored to the floor. Vintage Victorian Nickel-plated TOWEL BAR/RINGS, RARE
Nickel-plated brass. Circa 1900, marked S-M Co. I believe this is the mark of Standard Manufacturing, a predecessor of American Standard. 2 swiveling rings, each 4” diameter, mounted on a bone-shaped bar 1 ¾” x 5” A hook for washcloth or other item is centered on the bar. Came from a home in Frederick County MD that existed when purchased by my great-grandmother in 1910. This item shows wear that is typical for its age, meaning minor scratches and pitting are evident. Genuine period pieces like this are often priced at $300 and up in a retail store, if you’re lucky enough to find them.

RARE "FORDS" vintage earthenware bathroom pedestal sink
We are renovating a brownstone and are selling the old fixtures. This is a truly lovely antique earthenware pedestal sink. It is so rare to find such an elegant earthenware. Crazed glazing sink in such great condition. It is stamped"FORDS" on the sink and the pedestal. I am unsure of the exact date of manufacture but these sinks started to be made around 1915. It has a beautiful crazed glazing on the sink and pedestal. There are a few minor scratches and nicks in some areas as is to be expected for a piece this age. There is an approximately 2" area around the top of the pedestal where the glaze is scraped off but this area is covered up by the sink when it is placed on top of the pedestal. There is also some chipping around the three faucet openings but this would also be covered by whatever fixtures that are installed. There ... moreare 2 areas of discoloration that can likely be cleaned by a professional. The larger discolored area is approximately 1/2" and the smaller one is about half that size. Someone apparently tried to clean the larger area and scraped off some of the glazing but it is hard to tell. There is also one chipped area in the back of the sink that would be unseen when installed. This sink is solid and there are no cracks in the sink or pedestal. Antique Water Drinking Fountain Valve Rare Deco Gas Station Vintage Store School
This is a rare vintage push button drinking fountain valve. It measures 4-1/2" tall. It is made of chrome plated brass. I'm not sure what the white push button is made of but appears to be ceramic or porcelain. It has some typical nicks. Scratches, and wrench marks but still shows very nice. The female threads are perfect with no flaws at all. It has a built in regulator to adjust the water flow. The push button moves smooth. It's in great shape with no missing parts. We never hooked it up to water to try it out but appears that it should work fine. There is a 12 letter name stamped into the valve with some hard to read lettering that spells as follows, MARCHTENN- I worked at a school about 40 years ago and this came off a cracked drinking fountain. The only thing missing is the spray hose assembly but the fitting on the plumbing pipe is in-tact.
