Here is a'Youngstown' metal kitchen sink base complete with 2-basin sink top. Based on the hardware I would date this from the 1940's or early 1950's. All drawers and doors open and close freely, it even has the original pull-out chopping block! The top is in fair shape with most of the wear in the bottom of the basins. Where the enamel has worn to a dull finish. There is also a spot on one of the basin rims where the enamel has worn all the way down to the metal beneath. See photos for condition. The cabinet has rust in the usual spots. Under the sink and along the base. The base itself has completely rusted away near the back, though it is removeable. I can have a replacement made if need be, I can give the buyer the details if interested. The rest of the cabinet finish shows years of wear to the finish, though it is relatively rust free. The floor under the sink shows rust, though it is not as hacked up as these tend to be. Vintage 6 Foot Cast Iron Porcelain Double Drain Sink 25"x72" Pick Up Only
This is available for pick up here only as it is too heavy to ship and I am not dealing with the freight companies. Weight is probably 200 lbs or better. It was made by American Standard Radiator in Louisville on 10/6/1941 with a stamped size of 25" x 72" Bowl is in the center of it and is 20 1/2" wide by 18" deep at the top and then rounds out to the bottom to 18" deep by 15" wide. Depth from top to bottom is 7" Faucet holes are just under 1 1/2" diameter and 8" on center. Back splash is about 8 1/2" to 9" above the drain boards. Condition is excellent with some minor scratches and a few small pits to the porcelain on the left hand side edge. These 6 foot ones are one of the hardest to find and you can't buy a new one of this quality for $1000.00 I've sold several over the past ... moreyears with the last couple going down along the Chesapeake Bay and they are using them for fish cleaning stations. Antique Brass Faucet Assembly With Porcelain Handles. Here's an oldie but goodie! Made from solid brass this faucet assembly features 2 porcelain handles. One for hot and the other for cold. The spigot moves from side to side. This is the type of faucet that normally was used above a sink. Overall physical condition is really good- this is a relatively simple device. I noticed the washers on the inside handles were replaced. Perhaps with a little cleaning and minor adjustments it will be good to go! It can be cleaned. Shined and polished or leave it as is if you prefer the look of old patina. Also, on the back of the cold faucet at the very top where it connects to the metal there is a tiny chip. Just noting this, for it doesn't look as if it affects the stability of the handle or its operation. As for measurements. Its 3 inch on ... morecenter. Antique cast iron kitchen farm sink- light green porcelain in excellent condition. Double drain board surfaces flanking a large single basin with the original pair of adjustable legs. Included are the original drain basket/ strainer. Hanging brackets& screws and assorted drain pipe fittings. Also, a newer high-quality chrome over brass industrial faucet(barely used- I salvaged it from a renovation project) I do not know who manufactured this sink, Kohler or American Standard would be my guess. There is a photo of the markings on the underside. I purchased this sink from the original owners daughter, who still resides in the house where she was born and where the sink was installed in 1932. It was removed and stored in the cellar when the kitchen was"modernized" in the late 1940's/ early 1950's. That said, this sink is ... morein fantastic condition. Condition: There is wear as would be expected from everyday use to the surfaces of the basin, drain boards and strainer basket. There is one small chip in the porcelain on the front lower edge of the apron and several other tiny flakes along the same edge. Otherwise, all shiny and bright. very good to excellent! Measurements: 61 inches length x 16 inches height. 22 inches depth from wall to front of unit. The apron is 8 inches depth. The legs are 2 parts each and are adjustable for height with an interior screw/ spiral mechanism. Vintage Farm House Double Sink Cast Iron Porcelain Standard! Vintage 1939 Farm House Style Double Basin White Porcelain over Cast Iron Sink! This auction is for a used Vintage Farm House Style Double Basin white Porcelain over cast iron sink. The manufacturing date of 9-5-1939 is molded on the bottom of the larger sink along with the manufacturing company symbol of R within a circle and a C. It could stand for Richmond company but I am not sure. This is clearly visible in one of the pictures. This is a used sink but it appears to be in good condition; there are no cracks or dings but wear and tear. Some light staining, scratches, scrapes, etc. There is old paint on some of the bottom and on parts of the sides and edges which are clearly visible in the pictures. The sink is approx 42" wide. 23" front to back. The apron is 2" ... moreand the back splash is 9" The basins have a length of 17" by a width of 17" The left shallow basin is around 8" deep. And the right deep basin is around 14" deep. Keep in mind that all measurements are approximate. I will be listing the metal cabinet that this sink came with and rested on top of in a couple of days. Great example of a 1950's Double Drainboard sink with Steel Harrison Cabinet. This unit has been in storage for 40 years after removal from the original home. Overall good condition. 2 small chips in the porcelain. The steel cabinet has some minor rust at the bottom edges, but nothing structural. The cabinet is from Harrison Steel Cabinet Company out of Chicago(very similar to Geneva brand) I am not able to verify the maker of the sink.
