I try very hard to list only better quality items on ebay and not pass junk on to my ebay customers. A good many of the items that I get for ebay are carefully cleaned up and in the case of wooden items, professionally repaired and restored and refinished and other items are checked for cracks, or chips or any kind of damage and if there are any defects I let you know when they are listed, so that you do receive an item that you'll be pleased with. Classic "King" Free Spool Casting Reel Hard Rubber Plates Nickel Silver/Brass
Some research has not given me an answer as to who made and/or marketed this reel. Other than wear on the nickel silver rims near the top of the reel. This reel is in very good condition. The hard rubber head plate is marked"King" and"Free Spool" There is a free spool throw off lever on the head plate. The counterbalanced handle has an ivoroid crank. The tail plate has both an on/off click button and a friction drag button. There is also a small crack of little consequence. The foot is marked"60" Diameter of this reel is 2 1/4" width of spool 1 5/8" If this doesn't make the minimum bid it goes on my mantle and into my collection.

Corbin Brass CAST with nickel on front door plates- and Mortise locks and extra
Big substantial grouping of Corbin products. Vintage and BRASS cast with a Art Deco nickel finish on the front. The matched pair of door knob plates are 9 X 3 cast Brass. There are a pair of Mortise locks included in the grouping. 6 x 4 x 7/8 lock assembly plus strike plate and noter one has a extra door knob plate. Up for auction is 4 sets of vintage nickel plated brass/bronze door knobs with 1/4" shaft that came out of an office building in Portland Oregon that was constructed in the late 1800's. The door knobs are monogrammed with initials"DB" These also come with 4 Sargent door hardware. I have not attempted to clean these but they look like they would clean up nicely(they have tape residue and some paint) One or two of the door knobs have a couple of minor dings.
