Antique J L Mott Pedestal Base 5' Cast Iron Porcelain Tub Old Bath #2386-13
Rare Mott Norman Bath.Cast iron porcelain over 5' bathtub. Has a molded pedestal base. The porcelain is in fair condition, there are 2 stress cracks along one edge one is 2" long and the other is 6" long. Also has a few medium sizes chips on the outer rim and a few rust spots and hairlines around the drain. Overall it is in fair usable condition. It measures aprox. 60"long X 28"wide X 20"deep. Faucet holes are 6" apart on center. Antique J.L. Mott Iron Works NY Sink Tub Water Faucet With Attached Soap Dish
Here is a great old antique faucet made by J.L Mott Iron Works of NY. I am quite certain this is brass. That is chrome or nickel plated. It is very heavy and weighs nearly 7 lbs and measures about 9" wide. Distance between centers of hot and cold water pipes is about 6 1/8" It has the manufacturer name stamped in the faucet. Very unique in that it has the built in soap dish, still in great condition, permanently attached to the back of the faucet. Both of the faucet stems are bent as can be seen in the pictures. They both still turn, but are limited in movement. I don't know what impact these bent stems will have on the faucet, or the level of effort to fix them. Also, a couple of the round balls on the faucet handles are also bent. I believe the hot and cold plates are porcelain(although not positive) but they are both in nice ... moreshape with no cracks or chips out of them. The H in Hot is a bit worn. JL Mott Cast Iron Pedestal Sink antique plumbing | urn JW Fiske Downton Abbey
Antique JL Mott Corner Pedestal Sink I have only seen one other example of this sink and it had been sandblasted. This wash stand is still in original. Untouched condition and it shows its age. Some of the original gold paint is still present. There is rust and corrosion in certain areas. The bolts that held the sink together were cut and and left in place. They will have to be drilled out. I imagine replacements could be found at a good architectural salvage shop. I can see foundry markings(example: JL Mott NY'and'PAT 1872' visible under sink basin and on the bottom(and top) of base. I have included photos of these areas. Please contact me to discuss shipping arrangements. This item would have to be crated or it can be picked up locally in Ohio.

Antique J L Mott Iron Works ribcage needle shower
Rare 1900 to 1908 J.L. Mott ribcage or needle shower. These were installed in turn of the century mansions and high end homes. These showers originally cost $500 dollars during a time when a toilet. Sink and bathtub with all the hardware cast $50. These were originally designed for men only and were used for therapeutic purposes. Mott plumbing fixtures were the premier manufacturers and are highly sought after. This shower is solid nickel plated brass. The nickel plating is in good condition for its age. There is pitting along the eight arms, the main valve body nickel is in very good condition with very little nickel loss. There is a spot on the back where you can see some nickel missing that would not be visible when installed. The original rain shower head has a bent and a small dent in the top that you can see in one of the photos. The ... morebend or buckle looks like it was from someone over tightening g it at one point. It does not affect the function and you can turn it to the back when installed. There are no splits in the he shower anywhere. The valves turn freely and feel tight as the should. The unit is about 36 inches wide and would fit in a 35 to 37 inch opening since the arms flex somewhat. It is 61 inches long and stood 81 inches tall when displayed in the photograph since it was mounted about 20 inches off the ground. The upriser that the shower neck connects to can easily be lengthened with a one inch extension pipe. I have not hooked the unit up to water. A J. L. Mott needle shower very similar to this one with a broken arm and very worn nickel sold for $5000 two months ago and a reproduction needle shower sold for $8500 recently. Rare Old Antique JL Mott Iron Works Imperial Porcelain Sink with Original Faucet
This is a fabulous sink. I don't know what words to use to describe how cool it is but you can see for yourself in the pictures. We had this sink in our house and it worked just fine. The faucets and drain did not leak. That being said. Since it is apart, it would be wise to seal everything before reassembly. One of the porcelain knobs on one of the water handles is cracked as is the drain handle. I have included a spare drain handle but the plunger is different so some skill will be required to fix it. The sink has a neat crackly finish and some chips and stains as you can see in the pictures. The sink probably had porcelain front legs but I do not have them. The sink is very heavy and fragile. I will be happy to help a shipper pick it up but I will not pack it or ship it myself. Good luck and thanks for looking.
