Ludwig Wolff(1836- 1911) came to Chicago in 1854 and by 1876 he had a large plumbing supply factory under the name L. Wolff Manufacturing Co. Wolff built a large new Chicago plant in 1887; this facility soon employed about 1.000 men and produced $1.5 million worth of goods a year. As indoor plumbing became more common by the late nineteenth century. Wolff began producing a wider array of plumbing items for homes, hospitals, businesses, and schools. By 1910. The company had about 3,500 workers at two Chicago-area plants and sales and service operations in about 10 other cities. Description Up for auction is a vintage Glauber Brass Mfg. Co. bubbler drinking fountain. This is a great old fountain in good used condition with some small spots of missing chrome and corrosion. It seems to be in good working condition. But untested. The bowl is 6-5/8” across the top. The feed pipe and valve assembly is 12” long. The drain pipe is 12” long, and it’s 10” from the top of the bowl to the bottom of the drain pipe. This is a nice vintage unit that will look great installed. I believe the faucets are original b/c the middle one is the same as the sink and the other two match it perfectly. It has very little rust or damage to the pink ceramic. Barnes Mfg Co Mansfield OH Antique Hand Farm Pump Shallow Water Well Pump This is an outstanding antique item for a collection or for display in a farmhouse or country-themed restaurant. Made of cast iron. This pump measures about 19 inches tall and the pipe attached to the pump measures 9 inches for a total height of approx 28 inches. From the side, it's about 12" deep at it's deepest. Condition: I have not cleaned or modified the item-it is as found at the back of an old farm. Parts all appear to be original. I believe it may have been re-painted at one time. As there is evidence of peeling paint(see photos) under the current paint. Other than the paint, the item appears to be in good condition with no broken cast iron parts. Needs cleaned certainly, as there is still debris inside the pump and I'm sure the pump innards ... moreneed replaced if you wanted to actually use it: See high resolution photos for more!

Up for bids is this Vintage Hand Pump I picked up at an estate sale. The handle goes up and down as it should. There are no chips or cracks. I do not know if it will pump water without new leathers or not because it has not been used in a long time. Original color of this was green you can see in spots. Please grade off photos and Happy Bidding. Shipping may appear high but package weighs almost 30 pounds.
