Offered is a tested and working vintage hand operated water pump. Measures a good 30 inches tall. No electricity needed.just pump. Made from brass. Copper, bronze, and cast iron on its knee and foot rests. Wood handle. A wood base is on the knee& foot rest. Water sucks in from the base pipe(screened) on the unit when pumped, and shoots out the upper bib.either into your hose which can be attached. Or free flowing as was when I tested it. Worked well. No brand name found on the exterior. Old solder residue on the brass near the upper bib. not sure if this was a prior repair or sloppy solder job) When I tested the pump, no water came out of this area. If it was a repair.it was done successfully. This unit was lightly cleaned but not polished in case one likes the antique patina finish. I used a rock to balance the pump when taking photos- ... moreit is not included nor in the shipping weight. Pump is in one piece. With moving parts secured well. It has the manufacturer's name& town on it: KEEN MFG in Vineland N.J. The copper part is a little under 2.75" dia. Scratches and wear consistent with age/use. Nice patina! Purchased at estate auction of an old historical home in downtown St. Louis. MO. It's either copper or brass, can't tell exactly but the coloring is extraordinary! Just a beautiful piece with the word HOT in an old time fancy font style. Handle rotates and feels like it is opening and closing the valve but is also a little loose. Threads are good. This listing includes 2 very old water faucet spicket valves that came from a farmhouse of my grandparents dating back to the late 1890's or early 1900's. One is marked"Surge" and the bigger one is marked"McD" Both are quite heavy. Both faucets are extremely dirty and rusty. They have been washed off but not thoroughly cleaned up. The one marked"Surge" is the worse for wear. I honestly don't know what material either one of these are. But if you look at the pictures, you can see some shiny gold-colored areas on both items underneath the dirt and rust. These may be collectible. And then they may not! Up for sale here is a true vintage antique sprinkler/ showering head. Its widest diameter at the head is 4" The piece is made of what I believe to be a combination of brass and copper. The piece might actually be copper with a brass coating over it. either way it is super cool. The fixture is in great condition as you can see from the pictures above and it works well. It actually puts out quite a bit of pressure. I believe you could use this for a shower head also if you wanted too. The seal or gasket on inside appears to be in good shape also. Vintage Marvel Copper and Brass Water Drinking Fountain
Up for auction is this Vintage brass and copper drinking fountain. Like most of my items this is a fresh estate find. The thing I find the most interesting is its small size. In total it measures 8 inches high. The copper drainage bowl itself only measures 4 1/2 inches across and about 2 1/2 inches high. Dont expect this item to be in mint condition, but to me it has a really good used look with several small dents and dings from being used. Vintage Porcelain& Brass& Copper Water Drinking Fountain Halsey W. Taylor Co. The bowl is porcelain in good condition. No chips. The rest is copper and brass. I hooked up water to the fountain and it worked perfect. The handle has good spring action. The fountain was found in an old local service station that closed many years ago. Great look with brass, copper, and white porcelain. RARE! Outside diameter of bowl is 6 3/8" and about 2 1/2" deep. Please email any questions.
