Offered without reserve is a vintage model no. 77 KampKook Camping Stove from an estate. This stove is the highest quality camp stove I have seen. The top cooking grates are cast iron, they look like what you would see on an antique kitchen stove from the 1920's. It has a large tank with a brass pump on the top, this fits into a slot on the side when using and it then fits inside the stove for transport. There are wire type legs built into the bottom that fold out, inside the stove there is a fold up accordion type stand that can also be used. The stand and stove both have surface rust and all of this equipment could use restoration but with some effort this stove will look great. I first oiled then pumped on the air pump and it is working but the fill seal on the tank seems to be seeping. Antique Brass Toilet Pump Plunger Alert Products Vintage Cast Iron Handle No 3
Antique toilet plunger made by alert products inc Rochester ny. Pump part has the patent#1369461 and plunger has patent#1706315. It is model no 3. Has been cleaned and polished and handle painted. Plunger has cracks from drying out but it's still flexible and creates an air flow. Measures 15" tall when down and 23 1/2" when handle is extended. Very neat and rare display piece. This antique nickel plated brass soap holder is in great condition. The nickel plating looks in good condition(brass does not show thru) and the piece is not dented or bent out of shape. For your consideration is this Antique/Vintage Cast Iron& Brass Manual 18" Water Pump. It is stamped into the cast iron on the top"Peter's Pump Co. and"Kewanee. IL. In 1888 Mr. Peter Wistrand founded the Peter's Pump Co. in Kewanee. IL. In 1890 Mr. Fredrick Guenther bought an interested in the company. Peter Wistrand sold his interest in the company in 1904, and two of Mr. Guenther's relatives joined him in the venture. I am not an expert on old water pumps. So I can't say exactly what year this was made, but the small amount of information I could find indicates it's probably early 1900's. The handle moves freely, but I'm not sure it actually pumps water at this time(not sure it has all inner workings to do that) it has not been tested. In 45 years as an Antique Dealer I have never seen one of these. This has a cast iron base with a three footed flange to screw the toilet to the floor. This is marked Pittsburgh as shown. The weighted dump handle is made of cast iron with a brass lift handle that screws into the brass bracket above the weight on the front. This bracket is somewhat loose and I believe that this had a leather or hard rubber spacer to make it tight. The cast iron is marked Bailey Ferrell& Co along the side as shown. Whenever the brass handle is lifted the copper pan under the bowl dumps the ... moreS_T and the back pushes on the brass piston valve to allow the water in through the lead pipe to"Flush" the toilet. This valve has marking on it that are very hard to read. This appear to have a date of 1877? The bowl is made of English Ironstone China and is marked as shown with A& M under the Lion and Unicorn mark. This bowl has crazing to the glaze but is not cracked and is in very, very good condition. There is one small chip on the bottom rim that is almost hidden by the brass bracket. This has been cleaned at some point and the oak base and brass screws added at that time. I have been told that this could be a ships toilet or from a luxury Private Railroad Car. Who knows maybe Andrew Carnegie, J. P Morgan, George Westinghouse or Henry Clay Frick used this. I have been an Antique Dealer for the last 45 years. I am starting to get rid of some items that I have. Over the years, squirreled away" and now my kids do not want. I know that these are extremely hard to find especially with the original Ironstone bowl and all the metal in good condition. Old Antique Vintage Montgomery Wards Cast Iron & Brass Hand Water Pump No. 81
14 years ago. My mother-in-law came to live with us. Recently widowed, she left her house as it was, came to Oregon and said she was never going back home. We told her we would pack her house up, pack EVERYTHING, and bring here for her to sort through at her pleasure. Her house was much like a museum. She was an avid and well known antique dealer and collector in Los Angeles in the mid to later 1900's. We moved over 700 boxes of items from her house. Along with many pieces of furniture. 1 of her pieces has been on the Antique Road Show. I built a 7000 sq. foot building to accommodate all her collections. She never opened a box. She died about 6 years ago. And we have just begun the process of going through the boxes ourselves. It is an arduous process. Some items will go to concession dealers. Some are given away, some things donated, ... moresome are kept and some things are offered here. I used to write a bit of the history at the beginning of each ad. I have decided to write this, and when a bit of provenance fits, I will include this introduction. These items were collected many years ago by a very sweet and knowledgeable lady. Wish she was here to tell me about each item we offer, but, I am on my own, and will do my best to describe. This is an unusual pump. It has a bullet head shaped top. Part numbers are embossed on each piece that is used in the assembly. The base has No. 81 STD 5954 and the piece number 2 SE. The handle has 2 SB. On the cap, above the MW is 2 SA. I could have sprayed the pump with some red krylon paint but if you want it painted. You really need to use some oil base exterior paint. The krylon would last very long if you put it outside. Some people like the way it is. It wouldn't take much to paint this little pump. It stands 16" tall and has a 7" base. Very nice brass throat on it that just sets it out with the red color. I have one similar to this in my yard except I painted it John Deere green. The guts feel like they are still in and good on the pump. That's certainly not to say it would still pump water but that if it needed anything it would probably only be the rubber seal inside. They tend to dry rot if the pump is not being used. Here is a bucket pump or bilge pump. Made of brass(the pump body) cast iron(the red handle and the foot rod) and bronze(the bracket holding the foot rod and hose, the strainer, and the pipe at the end of the hose) The pump has been cleaned up and looks nice. All parts are in very good condition, including the ribbed rubber hose. I have not, however, attempted to pump water with it. Perhaps it is useable or can be easily made so- if not, it makes a neat decoration. The pump is 26 inches long with the handle all the way down.
