Nice metal recessed medicine cabinet with beveled mirror. The mirror is in good condition with only a few very minor scratches and very light ghosting at the bottom of the mirror. Has a glass knob. Can hold up to 5 shelves 1 glass shelf is included. Nice off white almost cream color paint only chipped in a few spots. Measures 20 1/2" tall X 18 3/4" wide X 1 1/2" deep when recessed in the wall. ANTQ Art Deco Wall Scissor Extension Shaving Mirror Beveled Glass 8" diameter I I have items piled everywhere. That need to go into my store. This sale is for a wonderful antique Art Deco style wall mounted Shaving Mirror. This mirror can be extended or expanded away from the wall. Using the ... moreaccordian or scissors joints that move smoothly, see picts. When the mirror is fully closed it is approx. 9 1/2 inches long. If I fully extend the'arm' the mirror is approx. 28 inches long, see picts. This was purchased from a church sale. And had been passed over by several people as the extending arm did not work, It does Now. A sloppy painted had painted the rings or joints where the extending arm joins to the wall mounted bar, see picts. The paint would not allow these rings/joints to slide, so the accordian joints could not move, see picts. Normally I do not try to clean'sloppy painter's paint' But decided to make an exception as I wanted it to be a working extending mirror. There are remnants of the paint left, but was able to remove enough, with a little WD-40 the arm does not fully extend and compress, see picts. It still sticks a little when closing, if fully extended, but will extend for a clean save many years from now, if handled gently. This heavy mirror is also jointed where it attaches to the accordian arm. See picts. It rotates around and up and down, see picts. Large vintage recessed medicine cabinet with a beveled mirror. The mirror has some scratches across the center. They are very hard to see when looking at the mirror as if it were installed. This cabinet has a very cool knob with a center button for the catch, The catch is worn down some the door will open without pushing the button, But it dose not pop open on its own. The door works as it should. Has some built in shelves and some built in shelf brackets for removable shelves(not included) The paint is chipping in several spots and there is some surface rust. This cabinet came out of an early 1900 house. The man that I purchased it from built a wood frame around it and painted it white. The beveled glass is beautiful. Has some mild ghosting in spots, a little of the white paint on one spot and there is a black mark or spot beside the glass knob. The original metal frame has paint chips under where he painted it white as shown in the pictures. He built a very nice ribbed frame around it. Nice old industrial cabinet with a beveled mirror. Made by the Silvers MFG Co. The old white paint has chipped off in several spots and now there is bare metal and surface rust exposed. It has a glass knob that is cracked but still holding together. The beveled mirror has light scratches and scuff marks across it and there is some distree around the outside edge. Very nice vintage recessed wall mounted metal medicine cabinet. It has a nice pair of chrome plated sconces attached. The chrome is in nice shape but does have some paint splatter on it. It also has a on off switch and a receptical at the bottom and a milk glass door knob. The old chippy paint is white in color. The beveled mirror is mostly clear and usable. But it does have some scratches, paint splatter and distress. The inside has brackets for shelves. The door does not close completely because of thick paint.
