2 VINTAGE ANTIQUE BRASS / BRONZE FAUCETS HOT COLD
You are bidding on 2(two) BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE BRASS/ BRONZE FAUCETS THAT APPEAR TO BE NICKEL PLATED. They appear to be a pair with one marked with a“C” and one with an“H” on the handles. They appear to have no other markings. When in the off position they measure approximately 6” long and the threads measure approximately 13/16” in diameter. They appear to have all the original hardware and it appears that there are no cracks or chips. The knobs turn hard. The threads have no damage. Since I did not take these apart. I do not know if they work properly. These are in as found condition and need cleaning. There is some staining and a great deal of finish loss but overall they appear to be in solid condition with great patina. I’ll leave the restoration and cleaning to the professionals. There is one dark line on the underside of the Niagara Shower knob that I looked at through a magnifying glass to be sure it was on the surface and not a crack.

The one on the left is marked with an“H” inside a diamond logo; has a little twist to the right on the body part of the threaded mouth. The one on the right does not appear to have any markings. They both measure approximately 4 1/4” at their longest points and both measure approximately 4 1/4” at their highest points. The handles turn in and out smoothly on both and both have a little thread damage and some damage on the fixed nuts. They appear to have no cracks or breaks and appear to be in solid condition. They have a great patina that gives a nice primitive look. These just may be the ones you have been looking for to complete your collection or both would have to be restored ... moreto use again. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Sink Wall Hung Bathroom Sink 1930's (#2)
Local pickup only in Fuquay-Varina. NC(27526) Local delivery also available for $1/mile within 100 miles, please inquire before purchase for a delivery quote. Here is a neat old sink that was removed from a barber shop that originally dated from the 1930's. There were no maker's marks or dates that I find anywhere. So I'm not sure who made it or when but it's certainly old. This mounts to 2 enamel-over-cast iron wall brackets that mate to the underside of the sink. The enamel is nicked. Scuffed and scratched throughout, and there are some mineral deposits that show around the drain. There are also a few spots of rust here and there. The color is very close to American Standard'Ivoire de Medici' which is a shade somewhere between yellow and ivory. The faucet set is a neat old bridge design. But there is a hole in the ... morecenter of the sink for adapting a modern faucet set if need be. The faucet set will likely require a complete rebuild, since the sink has been unused for quite some time. Check out my other items for the rest of the matching sinks. Vintage White Antique Cast Iron Farm House Sink No 2 Standard
This was pulled during a renovation on an old farmhouse located in New England. I do not have details on this sink as I do not know much about it. It is extremely heavy so is a pick up only item. It is obvious that the previous owners used this to clean paint brushes or as a second sink. The sink has a washboard/drain on the left side and some rust spots and scratches on a couple corners. I would say it would need to be refinished. I am able to get a lot of the staining off by scrubbing but it would take a boat load of elbow grease to get it clean. They have a few tiny chips on the top surface as would be typical of such fountains, the rest is dust and mineral deposits that will need cleaned off. They're definitely need a good cleanup, but it's a matched pair which is pretty rare, so you could install a high and low one to conform to today's code! Here is a complete Crane'Dial-Ese' tub/shower faucet set with accompanying'Temple Deviator' spout& fitting that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. The faucet controls are in nice shape. Both valves open and close easily. The trim is in fair condition, with light pitting and scuffs here and there. The original Crane diverter fitting is included as well. One of the supply unions was soldered by the original installer, but I have cleaned it off so that the threads work properly(see final pic) This will not interfere with installation. The spout has some light scuffs here and there. And there is some plating loss on the underside as well as around the mouth from mineral deposits. The measurement from the stem to outlet tip is 2 ¾” The threaded portion below the flange is 1 ¾” The thread is ½” pipe thread. They have new washers and may need new stem packing. The Bar is round and made of glass with blown circular flare ends it is 17-1/2" Long x 7/8” Thick. circa early 1900's. no chips or cracks.
