Two Roman Celt Celtic torcs in gold or silver cold cast awards or torc necklace
Two Roman or Celt torcs in a gold or silver cold cast finish. Your choice of gold or silver finish. They are wired together in front throught the lions mouth and wired in the back. Lot includes two torcs. Cold casting is a technique where atomized metal powder combined together using a bonding agent. In this case. I use a two part urethane bonding agent. The metal powders and sometimes a chemical die are mixed together into one of the two parts. I make double sure that the first of two completely different mold materials is prepared properly. Each mold device which itself can come in several different mediums is prepared with a release agent. Now both parts A and parts B of the cold casting material are completely mixed in with each other. They will start to react with each other very rapidly depending on which of the many different characteristics ... moreyou are wanting. This reaction gets so hot, it can not be held by the human hand and safety is of a high concern at this point. Once this reaction is complete, you can remove the cold cast items from the molds very carefully. There are several steps that happen after this point but the main focus of discussing the method I use a lot of the time called cold casting has now been explained. These torcs can also be cast in pure brass or pure nickle silver. The two torcs made in four parts and then wired togehter in this method would cost $385 for the pair.
