Vtg 60s Mid Century Modern Nice Walnut Wood Lane Cedar Blanket Storage Chest
This is a beautiful vintage Lane cedar chest from 1965. This chest isn't typical of Lane designs. It has a very sleek mid century modern look. The chest is walnut wood lined with cedar. It has a storage tray on the inside for smaller items. The chest measures 20-1/4" tall, 53-1/4" long and it is 17-5/8" deep. It is in excellent condition with no damage. On close inspection it shows a few scratches and there is a ding on the back right corner, nothing outstanding though. This chest comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home. It is clean and ready to use. Per the Consumer Product Safety Commission(CPSC) Full size chests manufactured between 1912-1987 need to have their locks replaced or removed due to the fact that the original locks automatically latch shut when closed and children can become entrapped. I show a photo of ... morethe latch, this chest has had its latch removed. I will include the latch if the buyer would like to put it back on. 60s Mid Century Modern Broyhill Emphasis Dark Walnut End Table Record Cabinet
This is a beautiful vintage 60s Broyhill 2 door dark walnut cabinet. This piece has so many functions. It can be a side or end table, a record cabinet or bedside night stand. It measures 22" tall, 26-1/4" wide and it is 18" deep. The inside of the cabinet is 13-1/4" tall. The table is in excellent condition with no damage. On close inspection it shows a few vintage scuffs or light scratches but nothing outstanding. This table comes from a non smoking and pet free home. It is clean and ready to use. Mid - Century Army Footlocker ( great coffee table or storage)
H ere is a mid-century US Army military trunk for your use as a coffee table. Storage, in your man cave, or whatever. The trunk measures 31 inches by 13 inches by 16 inches and is in good used condition. Unlike many of these it still includes the internal tray with 2 sections. There are military type markings on the top of the trunk(including the name of the soldier which I placed a yard stick across for privacy purposes. This works fine and should give you many years of service. I have no idea what it will cost to ship this so I estimated $50, based on comparable ebay sales. Lane cedar-lined hope chest with lock and key. All original in excellent condition. Cedar is still aromatic. Style number 8809-50 and serial number 957270. Overall dimensions are 27 inches high. 47 inches long and 17 1/2 inches deep. Unit has two compartments. Main compartment is the cedar lined chest with inside dimensions of 28 1/2 inches wide, 15 1/2 inches deep and 16 inches high. Second compartment has 25 inch outside highet from the floor and has 3 vertical and removable dividers. This second compartment was probably intended for phonograph record storage. Inside dimenstions of second compartment are 14 1/2 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 15 1/2 inches high. Exterior finish is in excellent condition with minor blemishes on main lid top. Two minor paint scrape marks in lower left hand corner will rub out with 0000 steel wool and furniture ... morepolish/oil. Am leaving as-is so new owner can select polish/oil as desired. Important safety notice: lock catch will be removed and given to buyer at time of pick up. A replacment saftey lock adapter for the cedar storage area has been ordered from the Lane Comapany and will be given to the buyer.

Mid Century Victorian Style Embossed Tin Chest
Here we have a mid-century Victorian Style Embossed tin chest. Attention to detail is all here. This is a beautiful brass finish tin on wood chest. Not sure where it's from. It is gold inside. It has a small separation on the inside of lid. As seen in photos. I think they just didn't have enough gold paint to cover or the factory was in a hurry. This chest measures 12 in. long, 7 7/8 In. wide& 8 3/4 in. tall. This is a nice example of Victorian style of embossed tin chest. This would make a fine addition to ones collection. Beautiful Vintage 1965 Mid-Century Lane Furniture Co Walnut Cedar Hope Chest DESCRIPTION This is a gorgeous Classic Mid-Century Style Cedar Hope Chest by Lane Furniture company out of Alta Vista. Virginia. This is from a very recent Estate Sale and has had only one owner. The warm walnut exterior of the cabinet on this chest/trunk is in amazing condition especially considering it is 50 years old almost to the day. Date Manufactured: 01/15/1965) The inside is lined completely with the aromatic pressure tested Cedar. This Trunk and/or Chest is in excellent condition and is ready to be filled with the hopes and dreams of someone very special. The dimensions of the Chest are 34” X 17” X 21” A nice size that allows it to be utilized in most every room and application. Upon a thorough inspection there are no scratches. Gouges or repairs on the ... morepiece. There are some very very slight indentions that can been seen in the top only if you catch it in the right light. Very hard to see. Lock has been removed for security and recall of all locks for lane cedar chests. A new lock has been ordered and will be sent to buyer. Vintage Mid Century 2 Door Maple Cedar Cabinet Chest Trunk By LANE c1955
This is a beautiful mid century maple two door cedar cabinet by Lane dated November. 1955. PLEASE NOTE: the pictures were taken in bright sunlight and came out a bit too light and orange in color.the cedar cabinet has a warm maple tone and is slightly darker than shown. The cabinet features shutter and paneled style doors with brass pulls that open to a solid cedar interior. The interior has two quality sliding beveled drawers with side handles. I have seen these sliding drawers on previous listings but they were just flat(no sides) and did not have the design and quality that these do. This would be great for sweaters. Blankets, etc. This heavy cabinet measures 34" by 17" and stands 31 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition for its age with minimal wear. There is a small indent on the top right side but this in no way detracts ... morefrom the beauty of this piece. Local pick-up is always welcome.
