Up for auction a Lot(27) of vintage casters. There are 8 wood wheeled. 7 metal wheels and 12 plastic. All of them roll freely except for one of the small metal casters, it looks like the casing is bent and interfering with the roller. They all swivel freely, some of the rusted ones are a little tight. Please look over pictures real well and judge the conditions for yourself as you get all the casters pictured and I threw in 4 other castor related pieces of hardware. Wooden Casters Great set of casters and brackets off of an 1880's Victorian walnut bed. The wheels are two different sizes. The two smaller ones were on the footboard. I don't know if they were smaller to begin with or if they got worn down. Brackets are cast iron, the screws do not all match but are the ones that were in the brackets. The casters do not"lock" into the brackets, if you lift the piece furniture higher than the stem they will fall out. Dimensions: Two wheels are 2 3/4" diameter and the other two are 2 1/2" diameter. Stems are 3 1/4" long. Brackets are 3 1/2" tall x 2" wide and they protrude 3 1/8" Condition: As removed from the bed. Very dusty. No breaks. Wheel centers do have some wear but nothing to excessive. This stationary feed grinder base carried 10" cracking wheels and a large hopper that were completely rusted. In its day. This roller mill was motor driven and could grind 100 bushels per hour. We were only able to salvage these great end legs measuring 29-3/4" tall with the Peerless carrier plate attached and 23-1/4" tall unattached. Each set measures 30-1/4" wide at the feet and tapers to 24-5/8" at the top. Each end is 3-1/2" thick at the widest point. This auction is for an antique carved wood furniture fragment in the shape of a pineapple. The symbol for hospitality and welcome. It is in shabby condition and its flaws can be clearly seen in the photographs. Please be sure to view all of them so you have a good understanding of what you are bidding on. The spokes are cast iron. 2 have 3 spokes. 1 has 5 spokes star shaped and 1 has 6 spokes hexagon shaped. 2 are wrapped in leather 2 are not. They are all around 8 1/4 to 8 1/2" diameter- the wrapped ones are a little thicker. they are about 2 3/4" 3" wide. Outside is steel-INSIDE SPOKES ARE CAST IRON. Antique Metal Ornate Glass Claw Foot Table Piano Vintage Hardware Leg Feet
Up for auction is one claw foot leg. I believe this came off of a pump organ at one of my dad's churches way back when. Anyway. Origin is not certain, but i have had it in my possession since 1969. It stands nearly straight up on the glass ball. There is a hole in the top of the shaft that is used to affix to the wooden leg. The color originally looks like it had a gold tint to it.

Bottom panel of secondary wood shows square nails, a single lengthwise check from age and shrinkage and back is open where it fit against back panel of dresser. Most antique dressers would have had a pair of these, mine had one missing at the time so I salvaged remaining one for later use but now have no need for it. I am not sure if they are bakelite or plastic-see photo of hand-drawn maker's mark which is on the back of each handle(too small to photograph. Each handle also has a number. In addition to the mark, they are as follows: 1, 2, 3, 11, 16, 21. Handles measure about 3 inches end-to-end; holes are 2 1/4 inches apart. Knob measures about 1 inch.

19th c. Atq VICTORIAN Salvaged Mahogany Ornate Wood Carved Table Pedestal Base.
Offered is a Gorgeous 1800’s Victorian Mahogany table base with original patina and finish. This stunning base has original wood and metal casters/wheels. The legs are solid Mahogany wood where as the body has a Mahogany veneer wood. The piece is in great condition but on one side of the body there is a very slight buckle in the veneer very hard to see and can be remedied please notice photos. It weighs a solid 20 pounds and measures 36” across from toe to toe x 12” high x 11.1/4” wide. This flat base would allow for a planter pot bowl or to reconstruct as a table.
