HUGE Pair DRESDEN PORCELAIN CANDELABRA w/ PUTTI FLOWERS Von Schierholz German Offered for sale is this huge pair of Dresden porcelain 5 light candelabras. Each with 2 putti and applied flowers throughout. Each candelabra separates into 2 pieces as shown in the pictures- just the bases would be really pretty single candlesticks if you prefer. SIZE: The candelabras are approximately 23 inches tall. From candle holder to candle holder they are approximately 14 inches wide. I put a can of Coke with them in one picture so you can see the size. CONDITION: Each of the upper candle holding parts has a repair to an arm. And a putti is missing a thumb- the pen is pointing to these in the close up pictures. There are the typical scattered small chips to petals on the applied flowers. Please see the close up pictures. They are highly collectable pieces in excellent condition. These were hand made in the late 1800's to early 1900's. they were professionally wired for bulbs. The wires can easily be removed to use candles as originally designed. A pair of these candelabras in less than perfect condition sold here. On ebay in 2010 for 995. Hand painted darling boys, discretely covered with sashes, applied flowers and leaves, gilt trim and absolutely stunning color. The markings as follow: VON SCHIERHOLZ Handmalerei, a crown and 3 oak leaves in a shield. Handmalerei means hand painting in German. This marking was used 1914-1930's. Set of Two Von Schierholz 3 Arm Cherub Candelabra encrusted with flowers and foliage trim. They are 13 1/2" in length and 10 1/2" in width from arm to arm. They are in very good condition but they do have minor repairs on a couple of flowers. A couple of minor chips/flea bites on the flowers and a couple of missing tips on the roses. Overall, they look exceptionally good for their age.

Beautiful antique Von Schierholz porcelain cherub. Cupid, putti candleholder. I believe it was made in Thuringia, Germany. Su per condition- has some tiny chips on some of the flowers. I've tried to show details in photos. One is on the large pink rose and two others are on the smaller orange flowers. I have tried to inspect it closely. But count only the tree missing chips. Flowers are pinks. Oranges, purples, blues with green leaves. It has gold metallic trim accents. 10" tall. Needs a good cleaning. But I am not familiar with the process for this. So leave it to winning bidder. This item was part of my Mother's estate which we are trying to clear. As is.
