These are a pair of Erphila Art Pottery Czecho-Slovakia candle stick holders. They have the majolica style with the embossed flowers. Very pretty coloring the yellow and cobalt blue together. Couldn't find another pair like these or even any ceramic candle stick holders from Erphila so possibly rare. No cracks or chips a small spot where the paint wore off. Welcome to my auction! For your consideration: Offering these lovely white and sky blue glazed American Art Pottery Swan candle holders circa 1940s. I've seen these candle holders in a solid pink glaze. Pink and white, and in a two toned pink and white with 22k gold accents. I believe they were originally part of a console set that included a low oval shaped bowl C-410 with swan shaped side handles. Measure 3 1/8" tall by 4" by 3 1/2 by 3 11/16" at the base. Both candle holders are marked with an incised number"410-D" on the bottom. They are in excellent condition with no chips. Breaks, or repairs. There is uniform fine age crazing of the glazes. I believe these were made prior to 1950 and by either Roselane or Gonder pottery but please use your own judgement. Combined weight 1 lb. Shipping weight 2 lbs. Up for auction is a lot of vintage Williamsburg salt-glaze candle holders. A creamer, and a vase. These were an estate auction find and were all in one lot. Antique Blue And White Stoneware Candle Holders 1890's Pottery crock RARE DG83
Here's a rare pair of blue and white stoneware candleholders. If you collect old milk pitchers and rare blue stoneware this is for you. These were probably a premium in an old sack of flower back in the 1880's or 90's. One of them has a small ship at the vase and there's a glue repair. These show really well in spite of it. Would look great up on a shelf with your other old stoneware and who else would have a pair? First ones we've ever seen! They measure 6" tall and the bases are 3 1/4" wide. One of our photos shows them as a really bright blue. This is not correct. They are the old soft blue just like on the old blue and white pitchers and crocks.
