She painted it green(ARGH!I’ve never stopped giving her grief about it:^) I stripped/refinished it back in the 70s, and it’s been in constant use since then. It’s in overall GORGEOUS condition. No damage anywhere EXCEPT on the top where my sister placed a plant without protection(another ARGH! The spot is very slightly warped…I’m 99.9% sure that it could be sanded out, but I chose to leave it(didn’t want to mess with the aged finish) Otherwise, other than a bit of green paint remnants here and there(nothing obvious) it’s in fantastic condition. No wobbles…firmly seated. Dovetailed drawers are all solid/function perfectly. All are unlined except for one of the small center ... moredrawers…it had been lined in(worn) red felt for years; I recently replaced the felt. Perfectly functioning side cupboards. Disguised as a dresser. Beautiful tiger oak markings. Throughout. Item appears to have been refinished. At one time. The top front board has hinges. And when lifted, the complete front swings around, to expose the bar section. Item measures approximately 43 and 1/2 inches wide x 34 and 1/2 inches high. Antique solid oak dresser with beveled glass and tilting mirror. There are a couple of blemish spots on the mirror(upper right hand side) but otherwise the mirror looks good. The mirror with the upper back of the dresser are removable from the base for easier transport. The carving details are beautiful. One of the handles on the dresser recently bent and broke- believe the current hardware was a replacement for original hardware broken many years ago. This dresser has been in my family for 40 years. There is a small area on the top where it got a little wet and dulled the high gloss finish. I believe it can be corrected. It's very minor and did not damage the wood. Lovely old antique solid oak highboy dresser from the turn of the century. It is 48.5 x 44 x 19.5" Very nice condition with a beautiful original mellow patina. There are a couple of discoloration spots on top and at the top of the backsplash the wood is chipped. It can only be seen from the back. Otherwise excellent shape. It has cast brass hardware and a scalloped swing mirror. It has a scalloped apron on the front, and it is guaranteed from the 1890's. It could be used as a bathroom vanity, as well as a dresser. The dresser is about 40" long, 32 1/2" high with the casters, and 19" deep. The mirror is about 39 6/8" long and 33" high. This is a beautiful. Antique, all-wood, hand-constructed, tiger oak 5-drawer tall-boy dresser. The dimensions without the mirror mounted are: 46 inches high x 40 inches wide x 18 1/2 inches deep. With the mirror the total height of the dresser is 68 1/2 inches. The drawers are dove-tailed and have beautiful original iron work. Being an antique. The drawers stick a bit, there's a light water mark on the top in the back and there's a spot of black paint, but it's nothing that can't be easily fixed(see photos) It has never been refinished.

Bottom drawer is missing the estucheon for the key hole, I can probably find one to replace it with, but selling with no guarantee of that; the top two drawers also no longer have the locks. There is no key. You will see in the last pic there is a scar on the top of the mirror, you won't ever see this unless you are really tall, I cannot see it when I stand in front of the piece. This oak dresser was in a spare bedroom and held linens. It was professionally refinished and is in excellent condition. It has 2 full width drawers and 2 half width drawers at the top. It has cast brass hardware that is believed to be original and a scalloped swing mirror that tilts. It has a scalloped apron on the front. And it is guaranteed from around the 1890's. It could be used as a bathroom vanity, as well as a dresser. The dresser is about 40" long, 32 1/2" high with the casters, and 19" deep. The mirror is about 39 6/8" long and 33" high.
