Vintage Antique (Standard) Cast Iron Pedestal Porcelain Bathroom Sink (1923)
Up for auction and from Standard we offer this Vintage Cast Iron Pedestal Sink. This bathroom sink is porcelain over cast iron and the has been refinished with porcelain so there is no blemishes on it. Before it was restored it had no chips. Cracks or rust anywhere and had its orignal drain and back stopper but no faucets. Standard made this sink in 1923, the pictures in blue show the maker and year it was made. Pror to 1924 Standard did not put an overflow in this production. This beautifull old sink is almost 90 years old and approximate dimensions are, Height 31 1/2" Top 24 1/2"X 20 1/4, Skirt 5" Bottom of pedestal 12" Hot an Cold holes 1 5/6" Center hole 1 1/6" Hot and Cold holes 12" apart on-center. Embossed with Samuel Sloan& Co. Each measures 14" x 16" History of Samuel Sloan Company: From 1860 to 1880. The firm of Sherlock& Sloan did a retail plumbing business in Rochester, New York(home of Historic Houseparts& Period Bath Supply Company) which was continued by Samuel Sloan until 1889. This is a rare find indeed. I found this sink in an abandoned house and with great effort retrieved it for sale. It is not in the worst of condition. Being that it is nearly 100 years old. There are plenty of places that restore sinks and tubs, found in the yellow pages and would love to help you in restoring this item. I would rather sell it in it's original form, then restore it and try to get top dollar for it. It is made of cast iron, and is a Crane Corner sink. Manufacture date places it in 1929, which is around the time of the great depression. Which is astounding in it's self. Especially since there were not many things that were made during that time. Here is an old vintage water pump. Embossed in raised letters"F.E. MYERS" Sold as a collector item. Untested for operation. I do not know if it would work. Plunger does move back and forth(photos#6& 7) Size is about 19 inch long. 6 1/2 inch wide, and 10 inches tall. Heavy, Weight is about 41 pounds. I do not see any breaks. Damages, nor repairs. There is NO handle included. Some wear and aging. See photos for cosmetic details. It is in as found condition. Has been cleaned lightly, and will look even better with a proper cleaning. This piece is from a farmhouse in NW Indiana built around 1885; might possibly have been an upgrade when indoor plumbing was installed. Soap dish measures approximately 4.5"L x 3.75"W; overall. Combination piece measures 5.125" tall. The only place where the cast iron is visible is on the back, left side at the screw holes which would be facing the wall. There are some chips to the porcelain which look worse in the photos due to the magnification than they do in reality. No indication of manufacturer; most of the use/wear is on the glass holder; this is a heavy piece, weighing in at almost 2 pounds without packaging, so please check shipping costs. Antique Vintage Collectable Cast Iron Hand Water Pump W&B Douglas Middletown, CT
This old cast iron hand water pump has W&B Douglas and the number 2 on one side and Midd Conn on the other side. Handle moves up and down and there is part of the pumping plunger on the end of the rod as shown in the pictures. Don't know if it could be reconditioned to pump or not but would make a great display piece for your garden or mounted on an old cast iron sink. It measures approx. 15 inches tall. Base is 4 inches, mounting flange is 6 inches edge to edge. The handle is approx. 22 inches long. Weights about 20 pounds. Very little rust as shown in the pictures.

1930 Vintage cast iron-Porcelain Kohler Blue Sink w-org faucets-Towel Bars-20x24
Antique Vintage Kohler blue Bathroom Sink W/original hardware& Towel Bars 1930s. Sink porcelain over cast iron. This sink is marked Kohler USA on bottom. Also marked K-1975. 24 x 20 8110-3 9. The towel bars are marked Kohler USA and the knobs and drain are marked Kohler USA. I contacted Kohler and was told it is a Jamestown sink from the late 1930's, making it at least 75 years old. It is a wall mount style. This sink Measures 24 x 20 according to the factory, and I measure it as 4 inches tall. The hot and cold knobs turn and there is a small extra faucet on the side which needs a knob. Since that knob is missing I am not sure if extra faucet is original Kohler knob or not. I assume it was for filtered water. It appears to be plumbed for that on underside. The sink itself is in very good condition. There are no cracks or majors chips, ... morejust some tiny little dings, see photos. A 70 year old sink will have some porcelain wear, but this does not have a lot, there is minor surface scratching and I have tried to photo any wear. Drain is tight and sink basin does hold water. Drain plug needs to be attached, and I believe the piece is there on underside to do it, but I don't know how to do it. There is one hairline crack on underside of sink. It is not on the sink basin itself but on underside of basin lip by underside pipe. It appears cosmetic only, and is not visible from above. Chrome underside pipe is also marked Kohler. see photos. I have seen a picture of this sink attached to the wall. With a pedestal underneath, so I believe it can be pedestal style. But since it is very heavy, I can see why is should be wall mounted with pedestal as cosmetic. I do not have the hardware to mount this. All hardware and plumbing you see in photo comes with this. Faucets and knobs and drain all included. Faucet and knobs are very solid on sink. The extra small faucet had a washer that came off. Extra faucet on side was solid. But is loose after washer came off. Only major wear on metal I see is on the drain opening. I am

Vintage Farmhouse Cabin Kitchen sink from 1941 - cast iron, drainboard, faucets
Up for auction is this cast iron kitchen sink with drainboard from 1941 including 3 faucets. The faucet handle to the far right is bent upwards but should be easily fixable. It does show signs of use as there are marks and some chips. These can be fixed with enamel or epoxy-based paint/resins. There are also repair kits available and the option of having the entire sink re-done with the porcelain enamel. I believe Custom Ceramic Coatings out of Illinois does this. The sink is 3' 8" long x 1' 8" wide and the basin is around 7" deep. It easily weighs over 100 lbs. This sink would be great for a home restoration or cabin getaway project. This is a white. Porcelain, cast iron farm sink. Basin has some rust staining and light wear across the back of the basin. Some light pock marks in porcelain along edge. Up for your consideration is a vintage cast iron mill wheel/ shut off valve. Measures almost 6" wide and is about 1 5/8" tall. Center hole is about 1/2" sq in the front and a about 5/8" wide in the back. Nice older well used red painted on it with a few spats of gray paint in places. Weighs about 1 1/4 pounds. Vintage Antique F.E. Myers Manual Transfer Pump Cast Iron
Very unique and rare F.E. Myers manual transfer pump. This one is Cool! The piston is free and moves easily. The castings are all in nice shape with no crack breaks or welds. All you need is a good cleanup and a nice wooden handle and you will be pumping. I did not take this pump apart. So not sure what it looks like inside. From what I can see through the inlet/outlet ports, there appears to be dirt and rust inside, but like any of these old pumps it should clean up well and be very functional. There is part of the original sticker intact along with stenciling on the side. The brass relief port at the end is in nice shape. All of the bolts/nuts look they will easily removed with no major rusting of the threads. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any other pictures.
