Vintage Antique (Standard) Cast Iron Pedestal Porcelain Bathroom Sink (1923)
Up for auction and from Standard we offer this Vintage Cast Iron Pedestal Sink. This bathroom sink is porcelain over cast iron and the has been refinished with porcelain so there is no blemishes on it. Before it was restored it had no chips. Cracks or rust anywhere and had its orignal drain and back stopper but no faucets. Standard made this sink in 1923, the pictures in blue show the maker and year it was made. Pror to 1924 Standard did not put an overflow in this production. This beautifull old sink is almost 90 years old and approximate dimensions are, Height 31 1/2" Top 24 1/2"X 20 1/4, Skirt 5" Bottom of pedestal 12" Hot an Cold holes 1 5/6" Center hole 1 1/6" Hot and Cold holes 12" apart on-center. I can't find a manufacturer name without taking them apart and buffing them. They certainly appear to be of excellent quality and present original condition. Nothing is broken or repaired. They both turn very easily. 8" wide at the handles extended completely to the side. 3" high when mounted flush on a cabinet or sink. 4-1/2" high when including the water line hookups. Vintage Froy London bathtub & sink brass faucets with HOT/COLD porcelain. NR.
Architectural salvage from an old home in Brenham. Texas. Either from"W. N. Froy& Sons Limited" Founded in 1850, or"N. Froy& Sons Limited" founded in 1978(I'm not sure which) The latter has a website. The cord leading to the shower head is plastic or rubber(not brass) These are sturdy fixtures. And weigh about 15 pounds in total. The large fixture measures approximately 8" from outer porcelain edge to outer porcelain edge; the exposed portion of the small fixtures(that is, not counting the pipe) is approximately 5" from top to bottom. Some of the brass is scratched and nicked. With green corrosion. Up for bid is an Lot of Antique White Porcelain Sink and Tub Pieces. There are Faucet Handles that read Hot and Cold. I believe one set is for a tub and the other for a sink. There is also two donut shaped pieces that I think are for the back of the handles but I am not sure(one has a tiny chip along edge that you would not see when assembled. See pictures) There are two metal pieces that I think goes to a pair of handles. There is a soap dish complete with the piece that slide on it back to hang on wall. The soap dish has crazing. 1930 Vintage cast iron-Porcelain Kohler Blue Sink w-org faucets-Towel Bars-20x24
Antique Vintage Kohler blue Bathroom Sink W/original hardware& Towel Bars 1930s. Sink porcelain over cast iron. This sink is marked Kohler USA on bottom. Also marked K-1975. 24 x 20 8110-3 9. The towel bars are marked Kohler USA and the knobs and drain are marked Kohler USA. I contacted Kohler and was told it is a Jamestown sink from the late 1930's, making it at least 75 years old. It is a wall mount style. This sink Measures 24 x 20 according to the factory, and I measure it as 4 inches tall. The hot and cold knobs turn and there is a small extra faucet on the side which needs a knob. Since that knob is missing I am not sure if extra faucet is original Kohler knob or not. I assume it was for filtered water. It appears to be plumbed for that on underside. The sink itself is in very good condition. There are no cracks or majors chips, ... morejust some tiny little dings, see photos. A 70 year old sink will have some porcelain wear, but this does not have a lot, there is minor surface scratching and I have tried to photo any wear. Drain is tight and sink basin does hold water. Drain plug needs to be attached, and I believe the piece is there on underside to do it, but I don't know how to do it. There is one hairline crack on underside of sink. It is not on the sink basin itself but on underside of basin lip by underside pipe. It appears cosmetic only, and is not visible from above. Chrome underside pipe is also marked Kohler. see photos. I have seen a picture of this sink attached to the wall. With a pedestal underneath, so I believe it can be pedestal style. But since it is very heavy, I can see why is should be wall mounted with pedestal as cosmetic. I do not have the hardware to mount this. All hardware and plumbing you see in photo comes with this. This vintage antique Art Deco Barber's porcelain sink is from a local Brooklyn New York Barber shop and purchased by us here in Utah after the woman's father passed she decided to sell it. The chrome is outstanding and shines bright, one of the side faucets has the"C" for cold but missing the"H" for hot on the right, rarely seen handle. The interior of the sink and around the front top has some wear to the porcelain and the back end underneath of the pedestal has a few lines showing it's age. Otherwise in excellent condition and ready to install, and yes it works! Antique porcelain bathroom faucet. I'm not positive what era this is from. I think the 1940's. The faucet is not in perfect shape but overall good shape for its age. The issues I see are the scuff mark on the fauces part itself. I did try some to clean this and got a lot of it off. I dont think it will come 100% clean or off, it appears to have sunk into the actual porcelain. The other issue is the screw for the cold side had rusted and broken when I tried to remove it, I was able to back the screw out but I believe the brass part will need to be tapped. I believe they are quarter turn handles. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain just the scuff. No maker on it anywhere I could find. Please view pictures closely. Just acquired out of an estate. We are able to offer this early 1900's era ~ NICKEL OVER BRASS KITCHEN SINK FAUCET AND SOAP HOLDER ~. It measures approximately 8 1/8 inches wide" center to center rear threaded holes" by 12 1/2 inches deep by about 5 1/2 inches tall. It appears to be a fairly unique configuration. I believe that this was originally on a porcelain Kitchen sink, although I am not 100% certain. We did not attempt to clean or polish the faucet and it is fairly dirty. I does show some expected signs of wear from age and use. The handles hot& cold handles turn nicely. ANTIQUE/VINTAGE PAIR OF SOLID PORCELAIN SPINDLE TYPE LEGS/ PEDESTALS FOR SINK
ANTIQUE/VINTAGE PAIR OF SOLID PORCELAIN LEGS/PEDESTALS FOR SINK. These pedestal for antique sinks came from the bathroom sinks of the Famous San Carlos Hotel in Pensacola Fl. The San Carlos Hotel was built at the Turn of the Century and was very popular with many celebrities and dignitaries during WWII. The San Carlos has since been torn down. Each sink had a single leg. But if one needed they could incorporate these as a pair to a larger sink. These pedestals are solid porcelain(not porcelain glazed on metal) They are each 22 7/8" long x 3 11/16" at the top x 1 5/8" at the foot and weigh 7 lbs. each. They are in fantastic shape with no chips. Cracks or even crazing of any kind. The porcelain surface is bright and shiny. One pedestal does have two small silver paint spots near the top. Great for a sink or to be used in a freelance ... morearchitectural design. Even could be used in some work of art. Vintage/antique BATHTUB SHOWER SINK FAUCET PORCELAIN KNOBS and Escutcheons
Up for auction are a set of Porcelain faucet knobs and escutcheons. The knobs have the nuts and c clips to hold them to the stem and escutcheons have everything expect escutcheon nipple witch you can buy a universal one anywhere. They all measure 3 1/2 inches in diameter and porcelain escutheons measure 2 1/2 inches at the base and 2 inches tall. The waste knob does have some chips, but still looks good the rest dont have any cracks or chips. If you have any questions please ask.
