These came from a Stevens Point Estate and were packed with the Christmas ornaments. In a large box. They are real eggs, dyed in various colors. Then decorated with various gold or silver foil, as well as silver or gold braiding. They are very nice, but not as intricate as the Polish Eggs. However, a great deal of folk art talent went into these eggs as well. Chicken egg(from Wisconsin too. I believe) Three layers of gold braiding around the egg. Gold braided handle. Inside is moss. And inside the moss are orange-red colored dried flowers. Very nice. 2.25" and in very good condition. We are an older couple which are down-sizing. We now have valentines up in the house(Yes. He stands 18" tall x 9" wide(wing tip to wing tip) I measured around his belly and it is 17" What a great piece for collectors of Murano Glass or lovers of penguins. The front portion of the penguin is a great white milk glass which meets the black back of the penguin. Where is meets it has the slightest hint of a deep purple. There are no cracks, breaks, chips or repairs on the piece. Since these are hand blown by the makers there are usually some imperfections in the glass. Vintage Hand Crafted Japanese Vase Made By Matsushita Seiko Co. In 1981 Art Deco
Vintage hand crafted Japanese vase with an Art Deco motif. It is black and has 4 orange and gold swans or birds painted on the front. It was made by the Matsushita Seiko Co. LTD. In Commemoration of the opening ceremony of the Tennessee Fan Company on June 5th 1981. It is in excellent condition with a few spots of wear and paint loss throughout. It is very heavy weighing over 2 pounds, and I believe it is made out of either porcelain or a ceramic, but I'm not an expert, so bid accordingly. It is over 10" high by 5" wide. Very old(circa 1800's) hand crafted African chess set. Clearly no two pieces are exactly alike. So not cast from same molds. Knights are 5" tall and pawns are 2 1/2" The pieces are made out of brass, but I don't know how the black ones are colored. All pieces are present and still in very good condition for the age. A pair hand crafted owl seashell embroidery thread art artisan figurine statue
For your consideration is an unique pair of owls made from seashells and some embroidery thread by skilled artisans. Their eyes were made from plastic beads and the eyeballs can move inside the eyes. They are in very good condition. I have examined them very carefully and find two small problems on them. 1) For the owl with brown eyes, one seashell on the top of its head was cracked as shown in the second last photo. 2) For the owl with clear eyes, it missed a seashell on its base as shown in the last photo. Considering they both have hundreds of seashells on their bodies, these two problems are not very noticeable, especially for the lost seashell at the base. This listing is for one beautiful tall hand carved solid wood statue. Excellent previously owned condition with no cracks. Has a few light scratches and teeny tiny chips that can easily be touched up. Has one what appears to be a rub on the left side of the face. Please use the zoom feature on photos before purchasing. White spots in photo are a reflection of the flash and not damage. Has lots of detail from the hair to the facial features. Unmarked, country of origin and exact age unknown. Has the letter'o' and a dollar sign'$' on the bottom in black marker from previous owner. Measures about 14 7/8 inches tall and about 2 3/8 inches at widest part.
