ANTIQUE PERSIAN ISLAMIC TURKISH MAMELUK IZNIK KUFIC SELJUK TILE
I am not entirely certain of the region of origin of this Islamic calligraphic tile. Although I believe it to be Persian, 18th century. The piece is fitted into what I believe is a lead frame, although whether originally made this way or a later addition I can't tell. It measures just under 8" square(20cm) The tile itself is almost invisibly rejoined across the middle from two pieces, which I have tried to capture in the last photograph(you will see a tiny hairline visible running pretty much across the center, although you have to look very hard to spot it. Because i am uncertain of the origin, I am offering this piece simply as a decorative item and have priced it accordingly. The surface is coated with some silver coloured metal- probably tin. Which is worn in places. It has hand engraved decoration all over its surface. It has heavy rivets holding the base section on. I'd date this to between about 1850 and 1900: A very attractive piece. Size: about 6 1/2 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches high(16 x 9.5 cm) Weight: 609 grammes Condition: Overall good- there is some wear to the surface and the inside is coated with limescale as you would expect from its use. All have the same pattern. They are probably Turkish or Near Eastern, and are quite old, certainly pre 1940 and could be a lot older. Size: about 4 1/4 inches( 10.5 cm) wide across the rims Weight: 513 grammes Condition: all have some wear and minor dents- two are quite badly dented. Though these are simply fixed as any competent metalworker could easily hamer the dents out again. see the photographs. This is a gorgeous copper and brass pitcher. It is done in repousse throughout. The pitcher is fully functional with NO LEAKS! The lip and base are made of red copper. The body is made of brass. I assume it's brass. But the reflectivity and the color, which is a pale buff/rose, is unusual. It might be a brass with more copper than usual. The pitcher is at once refined and primitive. The joints are mostly uncovered. The repousse through the lower horizontal joint on the body looks to have been done separately. Then joined beautifully. The higher joint at the throat is open and visible. There are also several teeth of copper around the body strengthening the lower joint. The more I look at this piece, the more I think that the center brass portion was part of an original pitcher and someone used that section to make a new pitcher. MUSEUM QUALITY ANTIQUE PERSIAN QAJAR ISLAMIC OTTOMAN TURKISH QURAN KORAN C1800's
For auction is this beautiful antique Islamic Ottoman Quran. This is one Juz of a Quran- a partial Quran. The verses are nearer to the end. This Juz is number 29. The second to last one. The Quran is hand written and has been decorated beautifully. It comes with its original cover. Just the cover alone is worth around £300- £400. I have uploaded a photo that shows five of these Ottoman covers selling in auction for £7500! I must add however the covers at auction were older than from the Quran I am selling. But it is just so get an idea. I have taken photos of a few pages- not all of them. It has been beautifully decorated and illuminated with gilding etc. Please check photos below. Size The height is 23cm = 9.1 inches. The width is 16cm = 6.3 inches. The Quran is in very good condition. All the pages are there. There is no ... moremissing pages. However there are some loose pages but this can be fixed very easily with some string if you wish. Overall in excellent condition perfect to add to your collection. Returns are accepted if you believe the item has been wrongly described in any way at all. So for this reason I am always willing to offer a no hassle full refund if this occurs including the initial postage price. The cost of posting the item back and the responsibility to make sure it is in its original condition is down to the buyer.

Antique Persian Turkish Islamic? Pottery ink Bottle Vase Hand Painted OLD Birds
Very old persian pottery bottle or vase. It has crazing lines. Small nicks and wear to the base. Looks to be the way it was made. Glaze glob/flaw on the side. Also looks to have been made with this. Great original shape! No chips cracks or repairs(other than the roughness already mentioned around the base) Old sticker says 16th century. It looks VERY old to me. It may be. ANTIQUE ISLAMIC/PERSIAN/TURKISH? COPPER DISH with CALLIGRAPHY/ TUGRA& DATE Description. A very heavy cast and wrought copper dish or shallow bowl. The interior decorated with concentric rings. The back with hand engraved inscriptions/tugras in two areas. The base with small foot rim. There are a number of feint scratched marks in a cross shape to the centre of the base. This dish is made from thick copper and weighs 1.64kg or 3 lb 9.5oz. I believe this is 18th century but could possibly be earlier. In good condition for age but with some wear- see photos.
