Here we have a lovely signed persian tea strainer and stand. The piece dates from c1900 and is very well made with lots of chased repousse decoration. It has an arabic makers mark on the base of the stand. The piece is solid silver with a carved horn handle. It is in very good condition with no dents or dings. it does have a very slighly wobbly handle where it meets the silver collar. But nothing serious. The piece measures 15cm long x 5 cm tall. Antique Style Arabic Persian Islamic solid Silver Platter/ Dish
This is a solid silver very ornate platter/ small dish. Would have been made in the Middle East, hallmarked in the centre in the Arabic alphabet. The engraving on the silver is of flowers and leaves with a pattern woven around them, the design is quite Persian looking, but it could have been made anywhere in the Middle East. The weight is 71.6 grams and it measures 11.8 cm diameter. Overall the condition is good but looking closely with a loupe you can see some tarnishing. Please see photographs.
