Colour unknown. Maker/ Brand Best Features Beautiful lot of three Islamic bowls. We have two unique dishes with silver coin inlay. The other is a larger piece with Islamic characters all over the top as shown. I have researched the coins and i know for sure that the coin with the lion and sword is real silver and dates to the early to middle part of the 20th c(8CM DIAMETER) This bowl is also decorated and engraved on the brass. The other bowl is plain with again coin inlay and i am fairly certain this is also real silver(9CM DIAMETER) Again the age is similar. The large pin dish with Islamic writing is possibly the older of all three could be late ... more1800's(12CM DIAMETER) All are very collectable and offered with no reserve and low starting bid. MUSEUM QUALITY ANTIQUE PERSIAN ISLAMIC SYRIAN SILVER INLAID EWER + BASIN C1800's
For sale. We have this extremely fine quality antique Islamic ewer and basin set. The ewer and basin are made from brass but have been inlaid with silver in the form of very fine arabesque floral motifs and some of the finest calligraphy of Arabic script I have seen on an item like this. The basin and ewer also been hand chased with similar patterns underneath the silver inlay work. The set I believe is most likely Syrian and dates from late 1800's. Perhaps very early 1900's. This is a guaranteed genuine ANTIQUE set of 100 years + The work on the set is remarkable. This set genuinely is worthy to be part of an Islamic collection in a Museum. The level of detail can only be admired. You can only understand the real beauty of the set once you see in person yourself. Ciaroware Tray Up for auction today we have a nice antique Islamic Ciaroware Tra y or Charger. It measures almost 17 1/4" across the tray. It has a beautiful floral desi gn with scalloped edges. It has two ov al inscri ptions. It doesnt have any makers marks an y where that I seen. I am guessing that i t is from the 1900 to 1940. Heavy Brass Construction. Overall it is in really nice condition as you will see in photos. But is does have a few small blemishes.Scratches ect. Look At Photos for a better idea of what you will be getting.
