Lovely outer surface condition; minimal surface scratches or marks; silverplate is worn in spots. Inside surface is rougher, but I believe was that way from time of manufacture. Has been only minimally polished. Despite how it may appear in photos. Surface currently has an antique satin sheen/patina, not a high silver polish. Hollow handles. Lovely engraved/hammered design and ornamentation. Measures about 3-1/4"3-1/2" tall. About 7" from outer handle edge to edge, about 2-1/2" diameter opening, base is 2-3/4" in diameter. I don't know too much about this except a friend of mine who is 88 years old asked me to sell this for her. Her uncle gave it to her about 30 years ago and he was in his 90's at the time and said it had been in the family prior to that. The waste pot is approximately 5-1/2" tall and about 5" wide. It consists of 8 panels. 6 of which have the aesthetic designs featuring Geisha girls, flowers and Japanese influenced design. There are no monograms on any of the pieces I have.
