WM Rogers 817 Silverplate Water Pitcher with Creamer & Sugar Bowl
Up for bid is this antique WM Rogers Silverplate 817 water pitcher. Creamer, and sugar bowl. These pieces have been in the family for years and the actual age is unknown. I didn't spend too much time polishing, but did remove some tarnish with Tarnex and lightly polished with Wright's Silver Cream. There are no visible dents, however several fine scratches. The creamer is missing the lid. Please only US bidders only as I will only ship within the USA. I only accept PayPal for payment, and all sales are final. No returns accepted. Good luck!

The height is about 5.75 in. and from widest point on handle to spout about 5 in. wide. I found some information about Dufva: Axel Gabriel Dufva enterprise. One of the oldest silver-plate factories in Europe. It was opened in 1847, simultaneously with other more famous foundries founded by Hermann Krupp& Alexander von Schoeller in Berndorf(1843) Charles Christofle in Paris(1844) Karl August Wellner in Aue, Saxony(1854) Axel Gabriel Dufva(1822-1897) was born in the goldsmith family. The bottom bears the Homans markings and is stamped number"2061" As to condition, it is tarnished and it does look like some of the plate has worn off. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 5&3/4" SYRUP I don't know the maker on this piece. It is in good condition. The plate is very good. Not worn off with exception to the spot I showed on the very bottom. Pretty floral and scroll pattern with a wicker covered metal handle. The wicker is in fine shape. No cracking. The hinged cover fits nice and snug with no issues. The only issue is there is a slight impression to the right of the cartouche(spot where there would have been monograms) You can barely notice it as you can see in the photo. Antique Urania Silverplate Art Deco Creamer Holland Urania Art Deco Pitcher
Here's a feisty little creamer in the Art Deco Style. It was produced by the Urania works in Maastricht. Holland in the very early 1900's. This creamer is somewhat of a transitional piece.with an Art Nouveau frieze of leaves around the mouth.and yet chiseled Deco geometrics. In good condition this survivor has light surface wear and the plating is largely gone.but no dents, cracks, or repairs. There is an impressed mark of the bottom reading: Holland Urania 1504. It's possible that number may be"7504, but it's hard to tell. From tabletop to the top of the spout the measurent is 3.75, width across the handle and spout runs 3.25 inches, and the diameter of the base is 1.75 inches. A nice example of its sort for folks forgiving of minor cosmetic issues. Please ask any questions which come to mind.

Up for auction is this Silverplate Crystal Creamer or Pitcher Lions Head with Handle and pourer spout. It stands 6 in tall and is 4 1/2 in from spout to handle. It does need a good cleaning and the top lip clasp was broke but sits well on the piece and no need to fix if you want to use just for display and not use I'm not sure if it can be fixed.It does look really nice just as a accent piece. Due to the age of this pitcher some of the silver-plate has been worn off from handle and around bottom off lid. Vintage or Antique Silverplate Small Measuring? Pitcher Creamer Marked 8cl and 2-1/2 German? This is marked on bottom with what looks like 8cl- OR 3cl(centiliters) hard to tell which. Also marked 2 1/2- if the 2 1/2 stands for ounces. Then the 8cl would probably be more correct- according the translation. However, it weighs 3.4 ounces- so I don't know. But, could refer to silver content? Could just be a cream pitcher- individual size. Anyhow. It is in very good condition- don't see any silver loss.
