Meriden B. Company Quadruple Silver Plate Ornate Creamer - Antique
I found this antique creamer/hot milk pitcher and to be honest. I don't know much about it other than it is OLD according to the bottom stamp. Meriden B. Company is a well-respected name in the silver plating industry and it is a sought after name that collectors seek. The floral pattern is very ornate and is seen around the bottom; the handle and on top of the lid. I have not polished it but it appears to have more of a pewter type coloring as opposed to a bright white silver color. The lid has a couple slight dents which causes the top point to tilt a bit to the back. The inside is scratched as you can see in the pictures which is why I think it may have been used for hot milk or syrup. Stamp: Meriden B. You are bidding on a Silver color metal Sugar Bowl and Creamer. Engraved on the bottom of the pot is“ EMPIRE CRAFTS QUADRUPLE PLATE. The creamer stands about 2 3/4" tall and is about 4 1/4" from the tip of the spout to the handle tip at its widest point. The sugar bowl stands about 2 3/4" tall and 4 1/4" wide. Offering this wonderful antique quadruple plate sugar and creamer set from New Amsterdam Silver Co. New York. The New Amsterdam Silver Co. was founded in the late 1800s and in 1904, it was renamed as Knickerbocker Silver Co. This is a fine example set for the silver plate collector. Both pieces are clearly marked underneath and numbered'605' Each piece is monogrammed with what looks like the letter'O' I can't tell for sure. The sugar measures 3.25" high(to top of handle) and 3" across the mouth. The creamer is 3.25" high and 3" across the mouth. Condition is fair to good- both pieces have issues and each has dents(please see photos) also the creamer has plate loss on the interior, hence the low price. Apollo Silver was founded in New York in 1885 to 1899 before being purchased by Bernard Rice's Sons who continued to use the Apollo name. I believe these to be early Apollo Silver items which are in well used condition and have a beautifully original dark grey patina. There is a rippled like appearance to the metal which makes it look primitively made and there is some discoloration around the rims. Sugar Bowl is 5.75 inches wide(handle to handle) by 2.75 inches high and the creamer is 4.5 inches wide(handle to spout) by almost 3 inches high. A beautiful addition to any collection. It is Quadruple silver plate and has a leaf pattern hammered into both sides. At the very top there is also hammered a floral pattern. This has been worn down a bit with age and is not as clear as the main body scene. These both have fabulous handles with great large curves. This is a fabulous set from the Aesthetic movement. These pieces are in great condition with no dings or dents on the outside. They have a few very light surface marks from age and use. The inside of both pieces do have some larger wear marks but they do not take away from either piece. This is a great set and will add elegance to any tea or coffee setting! Measurements: Creamer and Open sugar: 3 3/4" to top of handle ... more3" to top of mouth. Mouth is 2 3/4" wide. Body is 3 1/2" wide Check out my other silver plate items in my store! Offered is a quadruple silver plate open sugar and creamer marked#360 made by Wm A Rogers. NY. The creamer stands 3 3/4" to the spout and about 4" across the handle and spout. The sugar is 3 1/4" tall to the top of the handle and 5" across the handles. The pieces are in good used condition with normal wear and scratching. The sugar has a small ding that I attempted to picture and a small tic in the upper rim. Both need polish but would look great on the table.

Eureka Silver Co Quadruple Plate Creamer Sugar Wallace Sugar Spoon Great!
This creamer and sugar were made by the Eureka Silver Company. They are quadruple plated. The are tooled with a gorgeous pattern. The sugar bowl is 2 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches handle tip to handle tip. The creamer measures 2 3/4 inches tall and 5 inches from spout tip to handle edge. Both are in great condition. And very clean on the inside. The sugar bowl does have a few scratches on the inside bottom. The sugar spoon is marked 1835 R Wallace. Research did not reveal a pattern name. It is 4 3/4 inches long. And just seems to'work' with the sugar bowl. A very nice set. You will be pleased! This is an elegant antique silverplate sugar and creamer set. The bottom of the pieces reads: Dowd Rodgers Co. Wallingford. CT; Quadruple Plate; 1454" The bottom of the pieces also has the letter D enclosed by a circle. Both pieces are clean and in excellent condition. They belonged to my grandmother; since then we have kept them carefully wrapped and stored unused for over 50 years. The sugar bowl is approximately 4" high. The creamer is approximately 3-3/4" high at its highest point. Both pieces have beautiful detailing around their top edges and graceful elegant etched designs on their bowls.

This is an antique creamer and sugar bowl set from the Woodman Cook Co. Portland, Maine. The set is#1261 and is done in quadruple silver plate. Although I'm not certain, I believe these are early 20th century pieces. Both pieces are 4" tall and feature raised"beading" The sugar bowl is about 6 1/2" from handle to handle. Please see the pics for the hallmark on the bottom of both pieces and for details on the condition. There are only minor marks on the pieces that do not affect their attractiveness. EMPIRE CRAFTS Quardruple Plate Silver plate Creamer and Sugar Service Set This listing is for a set of creamer and sugar manufactured by silversmiths Empire Crafts. In production in Newark, NJ from the 1930s- 1950s; later to become part of Oneida silversmiths. These two pieces are in great condition. We have not nearly attempted to polish them up for this listing, since we like to keep our listed items as they are in the event the new owners wish them to stay that way. There are a couple spots of tarnish on the inside of each piece but we are certain they will clean up nicely. The sugar is double-handled and measures 4-3/8" from handle to handle. 2-1/4" across the opening, and 2-1/2" tall. Saucer is rough.a good bit of bubbling of the plating. Mostly covered when the creamer is in place. Inside of creamer looks a bit rough also. Although the design is a little hard to see in the pictures. here are 5 horizontal lines encircling the creamer where the top of the handle meets the creamer and 5 horizontal lines encircling it where the bottom of the handle meets the body. 4 lines encircle the knob on top. 4 lines encircle the top rim of the saucer. Both need a good polishing. Small dent(1/8" on the bottom of the creamer. No other dents that I can detect.

The only flaw that I can see is a tiny dent on the lid of the sugar bowl. Other than that these are in perfect condition. Very clean on the inside of both pieces. Quadruple, 604 1/2" The American Silver Plate Co. was a trade name used by the Simpson Hall Miller& Co. 1866 to 1898. It's a high-quality piece with thick walls. Heavy construction, and a quadruple coating of silver. I didn't polish it simply because I like the look of it as it is. I think it would polish up nicely but I can't guarantee that.
