This is a very old small Reed and Barton N2140 GILT cup. Possibly a child's cup.It is stamped on the bottom Taunton, Mass. and has their logo. It is in very good condition and has not been polished. The next item is a vintage creamer from the Pere Marquette, Para Marquette written on the side) R. WALLACE, silver soldered 2 oz. 9-47, 2 and 1/2" high. The next item is a sterling shot glass 1111, 2" high. All items are stamped on the bottom. The creamer is in excellent condition, not polished with a few marks on the outside from use. The shot glass, again not polished is in excellent condition.

This has gadrooning around the top edge and is 10" from spout to handle& 5.5" high. Lots of wear visible. The sugar is a large size with a lid- both the cream pitcher and the sugar bowl have some small dents and wear.

The set includes the coffee pot with attached lid. The sugar bowl with separate lid and the creamer. Each piece is marked"Reed& Barton 1794" which reflects pattern number 1794. This looks identical to the Winthrop pattern 1795 but with different bases. The attractive aesthetics of the Winthrop Pattern is accentuated by the design of the lids. Each lid is topped with a delicate pumpkin/squash and a lovely blossom which is sitting atop detailed leaves. The lobed body of each piece has no engravings or monograms. Each piece stands on a base with matching foliate design at each corner. I do not know much about it- from my research"silver soldered" indicates that the item has a very thick silver plating and the solder holding the different parts together is made of a silver alloy. The piece seems to be either VERY old or has had a LOT of wear(or both) as the details are worn off and it simply looks old. There seems to have been a monogram on the one side(left side when the creamer is facing forward- the side shown in first pic) I am not sure what the letters are as it is pretty worn off- it may possibly be"UL" but it is really hard to tell. Antique Reed and Barton silver plate 2629 lion figural creamer dated 1878
This is a really interesting Reed and Barton silver plate creamer. Pattern 2629, with a lion figural on the lid. This stands 8 inches from the bottom of the feet to the top of the lion's head. This piece has really intricate designs all over it- flowers, leaves, patterns. The feet are especially interesting with what looks like a daisy in the middle and lilies at the top. The handle has a ship where your thumb would go, and at the bottom of the handle is an arrow. The top is hinged, and works fine. The only wear issues are a very tiny ding on the side, and the front lip of the lid has a small bit of clearance and doesn't close completely. It doesn't seem bent, but just off a fuzz. The Union News"UNCO" stamped logo was a newspaper which was only available to guests who travelled on 1800's railways. This silverplate Reed& Barton creamer and sugar/waste bowl set came from a Vermont auction. The bottoms are marked mfd& plated by Reed& Barton 2710. They have a wonderful border design of flying horses. Flowers, and bugs. There are no dents. The sugar bowl may be a waste bowl. I do not have a lid or even know if it ever had a lid. The opening to the sugar bowl measures 4 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches. It measures 3 5/8" high. The creamer measures 5 3/4" high to the top of the handle and 6 1/2" from the handle to the tip of the spout. There are some scratches, see the 8th picture, wear, and tarnishing. I have not cleaned them.

I know that the creamer in this pattern has an open top. So this is either another style of creamer with hinged lid, a small personal teapot or perhaps a syrup pitcher. The border features gryphons, floral motifs, reeds and a flying insect. There is a tiny swirl pattern on both sides of the spout. Measures about 5 1/2" tall 6 1/4" wide from handle edge to tip of spout. Marked on base"Mfd& Plated by Reed& Barton 2710" CONDITION: Antique item. One linear scratch dent measures about 3/8" I see one other smaller dent(about 1/4" on reverse side. Has a lovely patina.
