Antique 1898 VanBergh SP Quadruple Silverplate 4 Pc. Creamer & Sugar #468
Up for auction are 4 pieces of marked"VanBergh SP Co. Pat. May 1898#468" creamer and sugars. They have an ornate raised relief floral edge, part of handles, creamer spout and lid knob and a scroll floral and leaf design on both sides. The covered sugar has 1 small ding on the bottom, the uncovered sugar has 1 small ding on bottom rim and the creamer has 1 ding on the floral design. All pieces need more cleaning, have the typical wear one would expect and on the bottom of one of the pieces is some black which will probably come off(see last picture) While you're here please take a look at my matching dome butter dish w/glass insert listing. I think this might be a nickel alloy. I do not know if it is original to the butter but it will be included(unless you don't want it. Should be easy to find a glass liner for this piece. The base measures 2" Tall x 4 3/4" diameter with a sloped inner wall that goes from the 4" diameter to 2 3/4" inside. The butter cover is in very fine condition and I see no dents or ... moredings. Antique Providence Silverplate Co. Quadruple Plate#412 Sugar and Creamer Set. From an estate and the silver salt shaker and silver bracket ring were stuffed inside. Measure 3.75 inches tall with approximate 12 inch circumference and 3& 3/8 inch diameter on top from outside rim to outside rim. Intricate scroll work design on handles and creamer spout. Etched flower design. Overall condition is good-they appear to be quite old. But have no known date. Half inch scratch on front of sugar bowl under the neck-could be from manufacture. Also small dent on the back side. Creamer has three very small dents on back side and corrosion near bottom of handle on back side. Salt shaker has no markings and the lid won't screw on and lid is corroded. This item measures 2.5 inches tall with 1 inch diameter across top opening. Very beautiful matching engraved floral motif on both sides. With a twisted trim along the top and twisted handle. Edges on bottom and top of cup are made to have a wave effect. Antique~Homan Silverplate Co~Pattern2014~Quadruple Plate~Creamer&Sugar Bowl~1896
This creamer and sugar bowl are at least 110 years old. They were made sometime between 1896 and 1904 by the Homan Silverplate Co. These belonged to my husband’s great grandmother. These pieces are pattern 2014. These are beautiful pieces with an etched flower design. The creamer has a dent close to the bottom(see photos) The dent is about 1 ¼” by ¾” It is close the bottom so it is not very noticeable at first glance. I would say that these were probably used on a daily basis so they have minor dings and marks. Silver is hard to photograph because of the reflection. But I hope you can see how beautiful these are. I have polished these and it seems like some of the silver plate has worn off on the lid of the sugar bowl. The little handle on the lid does not even seem to me to be silver. It was very tarnished. But did not polish up ... morelike the rest of it did. There are probably other small areas where the silver plate is worn off. I am in no way a silver expert. This is an antique quadruple silver-plate creamer made by New Amsterdam Silver Co. The creamer has an etched floral pattern on the front side. Beading around the top and a footed base. It is marked on the bottom(see photo) plus a pattern number of 600. This item is in fair condition with heavy tarnish. A shallow dent under the spout. The upper rim seems a bit irregular as well, but it looks as if the rim was applied so that may be more of a production flaw. The creamer stands about 3.75" tall.

Engraved sugar bowl and creamer. Didn't clean because I don't know how to clean quadruple plate without marring patina. Sugar bowl is 5-1/4" tall& 5-3/4" from handle to handle. Bowl shows years of use with a number of small dents. Interior is smooth. Inside of lid looks as if it was cleaned and while the lid is not dented on the exterior. The lip shows dents. 3 Pieces Antique Forbes Quadruple Silverplate Creamer Sugar & Waste Bowls 185
This listing is for an antique. Silverplate creamer, sugar bowl and waste bowl. The pieces are monogrammed with the letter C, and are marked: Forbes Silver Co Quadruple 185. They all have some plate wear around the bellies. The creamer is 4" to the rim, and 5" handle to spout. The waste bowl is 4" to the rim and 5.5" handle to handle. The sugar is 4.25" to the rim, about 5.25" to the top of the knob, and 6.25" handle to handle. The interior of the sugar bowl has dark spots. Shipping is based on 4lbs, packed weight.
