Tiny nicks that you can only see from the inside) Very good condition- No lid Domed Butter: This one is interesting. It came with a mini-lazy susan(with ball bearing rollers) silver colored stand. I think this might be a nickel alloy. I do not know if it is original to the butter but it will be included(unless you don't want it. Should be easy to find a glass liner for this piece. The base measures 2" Tall x 4 3/4" diameter with a sloped inner wall that goes from the 4" diameter to 2 3/4" inside. The butter cover is in very fine condition and I see no dents or ... moredings. Hee is a lot of three items one is a Pairpoint Quadruple PlateTwisted Ornate Engraved Floral Creamer 2022. Creamer pitcher is marked on bottom with Paipoint mfg co New Bedfort Mass Quadruple Plate number 2022. Very well made creamer pitcher with no plate loss in very good condition. Very beautiful matching engraved floral motif on both sides. With a twisted trim along the top and twisted handle. Edges on bottom and top of cup are made to have a wave effect. Both creamer and sugar container from James Tuft of Boston are marked with the number 1946 and are Quadruple Plate. Sugar bowl does have tiny split on edge and creamer has dent on compote foot(looks like someon dropped the creamer container onto the edge of the sugar bowl once) Otherwise both are in very good condition when turned both have a great dispplay side. Antique James W. Tufts Boston Quadruple Plate Creamer Very Sturdy With Original Patina Appears to Read 3902 Under The Makers Mark This is a very old creamer. It stands 5 inches tall and weighs a little over 5 ounces. Those looking may very well be able to identify it's age by the markings or the style it is made in. I will leave that up to you to decipher. It is very solid without cracks or breaks. It stands on the base soundly and is in good condition. But it does have a slight out of round appearance. It is no matter, as it has it's original patina and has held it's age appropriately. The inside of the creamer, as shown, has some splotches in it. I am not sure if they can be cleaned out or are permanent. I don't want to disturb the original finish to determine. Shipping via USPS first class for $3.65. Up for auction is a Victorian Aesthetic Period sugar bowl/spooner/vase by James W. Tufts of Boston from the 1870's 1880's in Quadruple Plate. This stands 4.25 inches tall and is 4.50 inches wide. The fabulous design features swirling shapes with crysanthemums. Roses, pansies, leaves and a fantastic pattern of circles or dots. There are no monograms. But manufactured not to have one! measures 3" tall, with a circumference of about 11" The bowl with the finial lid measures 6" with a similar circumference. Marks reads: James W Tufts. Boston Warranted, Quadruple Plate, 2231. BOTH have the same mark. And the same very faint"W" monogrammed on one side. Dated 1875-1915. Up for auction is a Victorian silver plate cup of some sort(we think) but not sure what its purpose is. We acquired it along with the matching tea set. What we do know is that it is not the waste pot. Sugar bowl or spooner. There fore we believe it to be a taster or cup of some sort though it is larger than most. It stands 5 inches tall to the top of the handle, 4 inches tall to the rim and 4 inches wide at the mouth. The silver plate is in good condition as shown in the pictures, there are no monograms or dents and the inside is usable. We also have other pieces of the pattern on auction this week. You are bidding on a very nice set of James W Tuffs silverplated creamer and sugar bowls/ dishes The model number is 2223 made in Boston it is quadruple plated The sugar bowl does have a few flaws it has a dent both have turned shooting in scratching but they are still in great condition for their age.
