For your consideration is this Antique Silverplate James W. Tufts Aesthetic Floral Creamer. Sugar& Spooner/Waste Bowl Set. The creamer measures approximately 4 1/8" tall by 5 1/2" wide. The sugar measures approximately 5 1/8" tall by 7 3/8" wide measuring from the edge of each handle. The waste bowl or spooner measures approximately 3 5/8" tall by 6 3/8" wide measuring from the edge of each handle. On the bottom of each item it is marked. JAMES W. TUFTS, BOSTON WARRANTED, QUADRUPLE PLATE, 1948 and the#15. CONDITION: There is a slight indent on the side of the sugar. Located on the flower on the front. On the creamer there is one small, slight line indent. There are some surface scratches and very tiny nicks on the handles of all the pieces. The patent date on the bottom also has the pattern number of 2760 which is hard to read. It is a beauty. Shiny silver plate and no monograms. There is a very slight ding which I have tried to photograph in picture number 3 but it is very small and didn't show up well. The syrup features an ornate boarder of roses and other flowers on the upper and lover rim and the design is repeated on the handle, around the base of the rim and has a large bouquet of flowers as the finial. Hello. I am offering this ornate sugar& creamer. They are approx. 6 1/4" high with raised florals on both sides very decorative. They are monogramed possibly MRH as per photo. The base is marked Made and Plated By The meriden Plate Co. though for some reason it been scratched out on both? There is also a silver test mark on the creamer all as per photos. We offer this beautiful antique silver plate creamer from the Meriden Britannia Company. The sides are decorated with embossed panels of various floral patterns. The overall effect is one of pleasing ornamentation and elegance. We have left the current patina as is. Though a hand polishing would considerably brighten the silver. There is a slight dent on one side(indicated in the last photo) but this pales in the showiness of the floral display. The base measures 3" in diameter; the creamer lip rises 5 1/4" above tabletop.
