Lovingly preserved and maintained, the feet show a fanned shell-like pattern and the ornate handles create a very rich look. This is a Wilcox S.P. Co. International Silver) Lady Mary" pattern silverplate creamer no.3041. Measurements are 5"h x 4" max width. It is hand-chased and embossed in very fine detail and is very heavy for its size(7 5/8 oz. or 215g) It has obviously been used but has been well cared for. With only a few very minor marks, scratches and dings, with very little tarnish. The large circular"dents" in the interior(see photo#6) do not indicate damage; they are part of the hand-embossing process. It's beautiful; the photos don't do it justice! This is a Benedict Silver Mfg Creamer and Sugar marked"Benedict. 14C4, EPNSBMM. From what I've read Benedict was based in NY and produced goods from 1890 to 1945. The Sugar and Creamers have a hammered surface. There is wear to the plating on top of the handles of the sugar. There is tarnish about both items and a good polishing should remove it. They shined up very prettily. I've noticed no other obvious defects. Buyer pays for shipping. I do not charge a handling fee. But I do recycle packing material when possible. VINTAGE 1881 ROGERS SILVERPLATE CREAMER-SUGAR BOWL WITH LID SET-CROYDON PATTERN
You are bidding on a vintage silverplate creamer and sugar bowl with lid that was manufactured by 1881 Rogers in the Croydon pattern. The creamer is approximately 4 inches long from spout to front of handle and 3 5/8 inches tall and is in good condition. Both of these pieces are heavy. The sugar bowl with lid is approximately 4 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid. 7 inches long from handle to handle and 4 1/4 inches wide. On the bottom of both pieces is the makers mark. The sugar bowl has a tiny ding in the side and a chip on one of the legs. I tried my best to photograph it. You really have to look to see it and it does not effect its use. These pieces look better when seen in person as it is difficult to photograph silverplate items. Please refer to the photos for the condition. Both pieces have the makers mark and name etched on the bottoms. They have not been polished as to keep an older look. But a polish would make them shiny again. This is a beautiful little individual creamer that would have held 2 ounces of cream on those days of elegant afternoon tea, set with delicate china and silver service. This little creamer has a shaped and scalloped edge design around the top, graceful tall arced handle, and sturdy flared foot. Each side has a raised floral design with swags hanging down that covers most of both sides. Raised letters on the base tell some of the information about it. It says: LADY CLAIRE, C 236, JAPAN. This is a very nice vintage creamer from WMF. Not sure of the age could be 1910's? Also not sure of the material. Was thinking Silverplate or possibly Nickle. Wish I could tell you more about it. The creamer is done in the desirable Assyrian Head pattern which was first produced in 1887. The creamer has a beautiful band of raised decoration around the middle depicting the heads of classical figures interspersed with fancy flowers. Shells and scrolls. The creamer is marked on the underside with Meriden B. Company. Quadruple Plate. There is a bit of scratching which is to be expected on pieces of this age. I haven't don't any polishing or cleaning on these. They come as you see in the pictures so please look over carefully. The Winthrop collection was named for James Winthrop. First governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony. Its basic design is a modification and refinement, a"pear shape" that was popular at the time. The shape of each piece is accented by the flowing lines of the handles, spout and finials. The legs appear to bloom with flowers, and above the ribbed gourd bodies the handles have flowers, leaves, and little pumpkins. Dimensions: creamer; about 2 1/2" high by 2" wide and 2" deep. sugar bowl; about 2 1/2" high by 2" wide by 2" deep. tray; 8" long by 4 1/2" wide.

Silverplated Mini Sugar Bowl and Creamer, Deauville pattern by Oneida, 1900-1940
Silverplated mini creamer pitcher and sugar bowl in the delightful art deco Deauville pattern by Oneida Community Plate. Oneida Community produced this and other hollowware pieces to go with the flatware pattern. Which was introduced in 1929. Both pieces are about 3 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches in diameter. The bottom of the sugar bowl is marked"Community Plate 15905" while the creamer is marked"Community Plate 15906. The only imperfections I can find in this gorgeous set is a small scratch on the pitcher(see photo) Both pieces are otherwise in excellent condition, with no apparent plate loss or damage other than as mentioned. Note that Antique and Vintage Silverplate are not"new" items and therefore will almost always exhibit light surface scratching. It's hard to find these in such great condition! Vintage Meriden Britannia Co. Forbes Silver Company Silver Plated Creamer and Sugar Bowl This Set is in what I consider to be Good Vintage Condition. But I am not a collector. If you are a serious collector you may have a different opinion. I have done my best to photograph this Set so you will know exactly what you are getting. Scratches. Dents and scuffs should be expected, and I've tried to photograph the the spots and defects for you to see. This Set was certainly in use at some time in its life. I noticed a few wear marks and spots, but no dings and dents of any significance. There are a few minor scratches, but certainly no big gouges. The overall length of each(not counting handles) is a just about 4¾" and the height is about 3" to the rim. Not the top of the handles) The Maker's Mark on this Set is the initials ... morein shields F S Co followed by an eagles head. My research shows this to be the Forbes Silver Company which was a department of the Meriden Brittania. Co. Each piece is also marked with the pattern#4710. This creamer is quadruple silver plate manufactured by the Van Bergh S.P. Co. in 1939. It is a wheat pattern. The bottom is the Van Bergh identifying mark of a"V" in a circle. It measures 4 1/2 inches deep and 5 inches across.
