Up for your consideration is a beautiful vintage Wm A Rodgers silver plate coffee/tea pot. Creamer and sugar set. The coffee/tea pot measures about 8" in height to the top of the lid. The sugar and creamer measure about 3" in height and about 3 1/4" in diameter. They weigh 1250 grams. It is marked Wm A. Rogers S. P. Copper B.M. Mts. 9377 C19 on the bottom of the coffee/tea pot and on each of the creamer and sugar bowl. There is some scratching on the surface which is common for vintage pieces. It is in very good vintage condition. Description Information I will mark jewelry if it is marked 24k. 18k, 14k, 10k, GP, GF, H.G.E. it means that some portion of it is solid gold. The lovely footed tray is stamped and Sheridan Hallmarked. Condition are very good. What a beautiful pair of silver pieces these are! The shine is gorgeous! The proportions are very pleasing. Very graceful. The nicks and scuffs are not too obvious. These pieces are still so absolutely pretty. The sugar bowl has significant pits in the inner surface. This shouldn't be too great of a problem if you use packets of sugar and sweetener instead of pouring sugar into the bowl. It's large enough that it's easy to pick up packets out of it. The sugar bowl is part number Y909; the creamer is part number Y910. The sugar bowl dimensions are: 6 inches wide(handle to handle) by 3 5/8 inches high. I do not know a lot(really not anything about silver) so I don't know EPNS BMM signifies and also do not know if the date 1918 is the actual date or part of its pattern name. This was left to us by a relative and we never use silver so it is wasted on US and I am looking for a good home that will appreciate its beauty. This is a smoke free home and we have no pets. These are so beautiful. Very lovely design and workmanship. The creamer and sugar bowl are in perfect shape; no scratches, dents or any other damage at all. The sugar bowl does not have a lid but still looks very nice without it. We have polished them very nicely and they are very pretty. The measurements are: 3 1/2" high and 5 1/2" wide from handle to handle. There is a maker's mark on the bottom of the sugar bowl but I was not able to identify the company who made these. Perhaps you are familiar with this mark and know the company. Will pack these carefully with lots of bubble wrap and tissue and will send in a sturdy box. Mail within 1 to 3 days of payment. Vintage Forbes Silver Company 1930 Creamer Pattern 216 - Beautiful Design
Its the design that attracted me to this item. Elegant. Formal but not to stuffy, Feminine and classy with unusual shaped lid and curved sides and handle. It does have a nice grape bunch design. But I consider that somewhat common aspect. This item can stand alone outside of set. Lets bring back this circa 1930 elegance one piece at a time. Lovely. Very Good Condition. Could use polishing.
